I talked to angel yesterday and guess what? We went nuts. again. as usual. It's back to secondary school days, when i diao her and she ILLOGICALLY argues with me. as usual. and forever it will be.

I'M GETTING BAPTISED TOMORROW! =)
This would be like the biggest day of my life! It means i'm publicly declaring He's my Lord and Saviour! Cool eh? I'm soooo in love.... ahhhh
Anyway, my dog is honestly to goodness driving me nuts! She's so naughty, and i don't know what happened. It's been an overnight change or something. One day she's okay, the next she's a... maniac! She barks at precisely 7am EVERY morning, causing the whole of Buona Vista area to wake up, and so i'll have to drag myself off the bed, or roll off, to feed her. Right nevermind, i cna always go back to sleep yeah? NO! She has to pee and poo. Fine. So i bring her down. AND THEN WHAT?! She continues screaming. Screaming mind you, now even a soft whine. Why? She wants company. Therefore, i have to sleep ON THE FLOOR for the rest of the morning til i wake up for school. I cna't use the couch cause that's PEBBLE'S SEAT! a THREE SEATER couch, all for a dog. This is utter nonsense. A dog is supposed to sleep in her cage or doggie basket, but my spoilt brat has a WHOLE COUCH to herself, while the owner sleeps pathetically on the floor. Okay whatever. The sacrifices i make. Sigh...
Lately, i can't even use the computer in peace, because that annoying fool of a dog, wouldn't allow me to clsoe the door and leave her alone outside. But i have to do that, cuase if the door is open, she'll come in and bite everythig in sigh, including the comptuer wires, which would be a horrific disaster that i don't even want to imagine it. Ghastly dog.
and THAT is why i love her. Call me a lunatic, or psychological insane, but i do love that dog. Ask me why, and i'll tell you simply... "She's MY dog." Yep, i'm such an idiot.

A day when most of us are free....
Well i had piano lesson in the morning as usual... it was usual... usally boring... but it was alright. Why? Cause it's the school holidays and i managed to practice more than i usually do! =) Hooray for me! -.- haha
In the afternoon, jiazhen, eileen, jocelyn, stephanie and i met up for badminton, in yio chu kang. Don't ask. Okay, now i am CONVINCED that i am truly out of shape. Like abosultely, totally, disgustingly, grossly out of shape. In the sense that, by serving twice and hitting back less than 10 times, my legs were wobbling, i had a stitch, and i was practically gasping for air, to the extent that if i jumped one more time, i would probably have a heart attack right there in the court. So i'm exaggerating, but really, it was TIRING. The consequences of not having PE in school, and the luxury of taking lifts all the time and not bothering about the stairs even though it's a one level difference (SIM). Sigh... alright alright! I'm going swimming and walking! (This i did today, 7th january, but that will be another post, or maybe i just won't embarrass myself further). Jia zhen was super cool though, she was THE ROCK. Haha nah, as in she was the most energetic one amongst all of us. Right, enough about emphasising how weight-ful i am.
On to the highlight of today. The dinner plus movie with THE COUSINS.
Three of my cousins came back from Australia! So the six of us girls decided to go out for dinner together. Actually, the five of them decided, but nicky invited me, which felt kinda funny, but nice. Haha. the 5 of them are usually the closest you see, i'm the baby of the cousins, and i guss in their eyes, i'll always be that. The baby, literally. I was debating whether to go or not, cause i would no doubt feel awkward, cause they're so much older and i wouldn't know what to say to them. But i wanted to too, cause hey, they invited me, if i turn them down, isn't that kinda unfriendly, and it's just encouraging all of us to distance ourselves a bit? And we ARE cousins after all, yeah? So... i went. And i have absolutely no regrets.
Everyone were great! Ning's boyfriend came along too! We were supposed to have dinner at Crystal Jades, but we ended up eating at some Japanese restaurant, beside the Crystal Jades at Shaw, Lido, in Orchard. It was good, but we ate til we were stuffed! I had trouble breathing. I always seem to have trouble breating these days, as long as i'm wearing pants. Okay, point taken. I gotta lose something, and soon. -.- Anyway, we took a few pictures and headed off to cineleisure to watch... Night At The Museum, as Lido was not showing that show.
AHHH the next show would be at 11.45PM and anyway, only Geogette and i wanted to catch that, so the rest went home. Oh wait, i forgot about the arcade part. It was cool! =) We played this zombie game whereby we were supposed to shoot at duh, all zombies except civilians. Haha there were lots of commentries, screaming, and bad shot all around. Right, bad shots came from me. I couldn't even reload. Fine. No matter.
So, geogie and i watched that show, and hahahahaha it was hilarious! Shall not eleborate. You go watch it yourself. You'll love it, i promise. =) By the time the show ended, it was 1.45am? I was so dozing off on my feet. Mum had to pick me up of course, since there is not public transport at that obscene time, and geogie took a cab home.
Well that's about it, i have to restart the computer in order for the Antivirus thing to work, so.. i'll post the two pictures of us cousins at a later date yeah? =) Good night people!!

oh goodness Goodness GOdness GOODness GOODNESS! It's the new year already, and i'm... raving mad!! like... NUTTY MAD!!
I'm either going to cry a tsunami, or explode into a hundred thousand pieces of red hot chilli padi anger or whatever. My thoughts are very incoherent now. I'm just fed up, fed up with my dad, although i know i'm supposed to be forgiving and calm and blah blah blah...
My computer has been giving me like loads of problems so daddy has been reformatting then again, and again, AND AGAIN. When he reformatted it two days ago, he saved all our old files somewhere so they will not be lost. But during the two days, from the last reformatting and today, i uploaded more pictures of pebbles, my cousins, the family... into the computer. PLUS, i redid my VERY nice timetable into an easier version to read and uderstand. VERY NICE one, with colours, and whatnots. And what did my nice daddy do? He was lazy to resave the files again, so he just reformatted the computer AGAIN this morning, believing that he would put in all our OLD documents back into the computer ANOTHER DAY.
To sum up, the OLD documents are NOT in the computer yet, and all my pictures plus the nice timetable done by yours truly (which took VERY long mind you), are GONE. LOST. DECEASED. NEVER TO BE FOUND, or RETURNED. EVER AGAIN.
WAILSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
okay okay breathe..... NVM. As all these precious things have been lost, AT LEAST allow me to whine A LITTLE to my mum right? I mean, my mum and dad are all i've got. Who else can i expect to get a little sympathy from? The PLANTS?! my dog is sleeping by the way... So my mum, being the protective her, had to help me a little, and of course, rub it in, into my dad. Meaning, wake him up from his slumber, and reprimand him, A LITTLE, about not saving up my stuff.

Dad gets all grouchy and unreasonable and stomps into the computer room, where i'm sulking on my own and meditating. ON MY OWN, i repeat. Not bothering everyone else. You know me, i'll get over it sooner or later, but just let me mumble to MYSELF for 10 minutes!!! So anyway, i'm downloading stuff for the family. FOR THE FAMILY. Neccessary stuff, such as the Norton antivirus, firewall, MSN for my mum, MP3 stuff for my dad... Do you see me downloading any of MY stuff? Stuff that are meaningless to my loving family such as itunes and whatever else? i Can't think of any now, but come on, you think i'm not sleepy arh. AND i'm hungry too. My dad stomps in, and starts giving attitude. -.- Like yelling, and scolding me and telling me to get out of the seat since he's going to transfer all the folders into the computer and yada yada...
I'm so mad, and he starts giving all this nonsense. you know what? He has never said sorry in his entire life. He's never sorry. If he is, he never SAYS it. Instead, he'll try to make it up by doing things, which are REALLY not appreciated, which in fact, makes life more difficult for everyone else. Of course, he'lll actually know that if he knows us. Okay, end of blog.
This post sounds very... not nice, yeah?
Since i'm done ranting, i guess i'll be... normal again.
Will type something nice in the next post, since i can't do anything (no files in the computer) and i have to wait for the nortan antivirus to complete it's downloading.

So well uhh, it's been a long time eh?
I've been so busy... gosh, the exams are here!!! They'll end on 8th december i think, but right now i'm so so so gonna study real hard.
I lost my watch today. =( It must have dropped while i was rushing to meet jia zhen. The phone was ringing, i was trying to cross the traffic light, and a girl asked me for donations so i was like ?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?
And of course you know the careless me, i obviously dropped my watch and off i went. Sigh... Brooding about it now; therefore, i had better go start on my UGC essays. Gotta do somethign to drown myself in my sorrow... -.-

Trek Part 4
Trek Part 4
So we reached our camp base, and the guys set about gathering firewood, for nothing, cause in the end they didn't use it. -.- They were very drama though. They actually pulled down this trunk/HUGE branch thing, like tarzans... And after they managed to get it down, they basically stared at each other, wondering how they were going to chop it up. -.- Sigh... the girls gave up staring at their bewilderment and headed for the river thing, our bathing area. Wait, let me rephrase that. We were off to bathe IN THE RIVER! Haha how cool is that? Sorry, no photographs on this, it's umm PRIVATE. Nah, though the guys and girls bathed together, we took NO clothes off OKAY? No cloth or whatsoever. Nada. We umm took quite a while to bathe haha. Initially we were a wee self conscious. It was so cold! A few seniors very kindly splashed water on us, and i nearly died there. I felt like "rose" in titanic who was freezing to death in the cold winds and waters. Anyway, we waded in, SLOWLY, opened our shampoo bottles, SLOWLY, poured out the soap, SLOWLY, and EVER SO SLOWLY washed our hair. And then an amazing thing happened. Jia zhen who was beside me, suddenly floated up, with her legs in the air, and sank back down into the water. WHOA. MAGIC! Haha, and on the other side, krystel and stephanie were washing each other's hair. COOL, a salon! Behind me, Eileen was trying very carefully to balance on a rock and wash herself without getting her hair wet. Okay so FINALLY we were done. We probably took 2 hours? Haha Longest bath i've ever had in my entire life!
Upon reaching our tentage area, our group members were hilarious! One commented that we drowned in the river, haha since we took so long. Hahaha. Dinner time it was however, so we had to assist in cooking! Unfortunately, the people there were so efficient, they had already started, and there didn't seem to be anything we could do. We were free... again. So we sat down, and LOOKED.
Ahhh we're cooking! =) That bright orange thing is uhh me. haha Wore orange as i was afraid i would get lost haha, so orange is well, see-able. hahaha
The fella looking into the camera is Caleb! Haha Jia Zhen thought he was a girl. We were looking through the names of those in our group, and i insisted "Caleb" is a boy... haha
Ahh something for krystel and me to do! PASTA! We took the mess tins and started cooking pasta. Obviously, we weren't very good at it, so haha, it was one unhealthy meal. We added too much milk, too much butter, too much of everything except the pasta, which was limited. -.- Yeah yeah, keep those comments to yourself. BUT, they still tasted real good =) Usually, unhealthy stuff taste good hahaha. There wasn't anything else to do other than the pasta, so jia zhen felt relaly bored and stoned. Poor girl, but it's alright, we all enjoyed eahc other's company. The two itnernational guys behind us (vietnamese and mongolian) were largi best. One was SLEEPING, and the other uhh, hmmm... Haha but when we were done cooking, we passed around spoonfuls of food feeding each other. Rex's a pretty darn good cook! Lucky us. There was mee sua, curry chicken and potatos, fish, egg, luncheon meet, and of course AHEM pasta!
Halfway through our meal... ... ... AIYIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think they wanted to cook the scorpion and eat it or something, but ummm...
Oh yeah! And then sigh, we had to pee. Haha this was so funny! There was nowhere to pee! So jean, krystel, jia zhen adn i had to run to sme ulu place with bushes, and...
"one, two THREE! SQUAT AND PEE! QUICK QUICK!!"
Yep, that's what we did, we stood in a row, and peed for all our worth, and ran back to camp, half embarrassded but half proud that we did it. We were real jungle women! Now all we needed were leopard skin bras and bottoms. -.-
That was the reason why we held our shit the entire trip! Haha, we so did not want to dig a hole in the ground, shit, and then cover it back up! Though of course, it would have been good fertiliser for the soil... haha
Ahhh here comes the fun part of the night. We didn't want to sleep jsut yet, although it would have been a wise thing, since we hardly slept the night before, and we were going to have to set off at 6 plus the next morning for Bukit Paranoma. So we all gathered in the girls tent, for a reason. A 6 man tent filled with 10 people? Haha WHY? Let me tell you why. (jia zhen, laugh now) The girls were afraid of these humongous flying ants, plus baby ones, that were attracted to our torch lights! Thus, they all went screaming into the tent. But in reality, it were 5 girls screaming in a tent, afraid of flying ants. 5 boys in slippers and short, ran to our tents, and plucked/shoot/snapped these ferocious insects away with tissue papers, torchlights and tees. Everyone went into one tent, and played UNO plus heart attack plus bluff. Hahahaa cute eh?
Uno was... boring after a while. Haha It was such a long game and no one was winning! It was very obvious who was losing though, and that was Sebastian haha, cause he kept drawing, and drawing, and drawing....... 4, 8, 12......
Heart attack... Hmmm.. It was alright, but we couldn't ;play it forever, and it was hard for 20 hands to pile up in the center. haha
I think everyone had the msot fun during the game of "Bluff". It was nuts! We constantly guessed the wrong people, and had to take the whole pile. Jean was cute. In all the games, she was honest, and the ONE TIME she bluffed, she was caught. Haha. Guess who lost in the end? Yours truly. The last 3 losers had to do a forfeit, truth and dare. We were William, Krystel and me. WHO on earth would chose the dare right? So we chose truth. Our questions were basically the same.
"Which person of the opposite gender, in ODAC, do you admire the most?"
William never did answer, but oh well. Krystel chose Eileen's partner on the trek, and i wanted to too, but she was faster. Why? Cause he's a sweet guy! When eileen's track shoes died on her, he actually lent her his sandals and walked barefoot all the way back! Poor guy. Haha, but nvm. I had another one in mind. And that was, Jia zhen's partner, our hero! I mentioned he helped us carry our bag right, so that was one point. The other was that he seemed to take an initiative in doing stuff. He was the first one to get the firewood (albeit of no neccessity), and he was always the one sweeping away branches during our lorry ride.
Ahh so taht was about it. After the game, we went to watch fireflies. So pretty! =) But we didn't take pictures. Too busy trying to find our way in the dark. It was pitch black out there okay. Goodness! After taht we went to bed! Will tell you mroe about bedroom activities in part 5! Haha
So we reached our camp base, and the guys set about gathering firewood, for nothing, cause in the end they didn't use it. -.- They were very drama though. They actually pulled down this trunk/HUGE branch thing, like tarzans... And after they managed to get it down, they basically stared at each other, wondering how they were going to chop it up. -.- Sigh... the girls gave up staring at their bewilderment and headed for the river thing, our bathing area. Wait, let me rephrase that. We were off to bathe IN THE RIVER! Haha how cool is that? Sorry, no photographs on this, it's umm PRIVATE. Nah, though the guys and girls bathed together, we took NO clothes off OKAY? No cloth or whatsoever. Nada. We umm took quite a while to bathe haha. Initially we were a wee self conscious. It was so cold! A few seniors very kindly splashed water on us, and i nearly died there. I felt like "rose" in titanic who was freezing to death in the cold winds and waters. Anyway, we waded in, SLOWLY, opened our shampoo bottles, SLOWLY, poured out the soap, SLOWLY, and EVER SO SLOWLY washed our hair. And then an amazing thing happened. Jia zhen who was beside me, suddenly floated up, with her legs in the air, and sank back down into the water. WHOA. MAGIC! Haha, and on the other side, krystel and stephanie were washing each other's hair. COOL, a salon! Behind me, Eileen was trying very carefully to balance on a rock and wash herself without getting her hair wet. Okay so FINALLY we were done. We probably took 2 hours? Haha Longest bath i've ever had in my entire life!
Upon reaching our tentage area, our group members were hilarious! One commented that we drowned in the river, haha since we took so long. Hahaha. Dinner time it was however, so we had to assist in cooking! Unfortunately, the people there were so efficient, they had already started, and there didn't seem to be anything we could do. We were free... again. So we sat down, and LOOKED.
Ahhh we're cooking! =) That bright orange thing is uhh me. haha Wore orange as i was afraid i would get lost haha, so orange is well, see-able. hahaha
The fella looking into the camera is Caleb! Haha Jia Zhen thought he was a girl. We were looking through the names of those in our group, and i insisted "Caleb" is a boy... hahaAhh something for krystel and me to do! PASTA! We took the mess tins and started cooking pasta. Obviously, we weren't very good at it, so haha, it was one unhealthy meal. We added too much milk, too much butter, too much of everything except the pasta, which was limited. -.- Yeah yeah, keep those comments to yourself. BUT, they still tasted real good =) Usually, unhealthy stuff taste good hahaha. There wasn't anything else to do other than the pasta, so jia zhen felt relaly bored and stoned. Poor girl, but it's alright, we all enjoyed eahc other's company. The two itnernational guys behind us (vietnamese and mongolian) were largi best. One was SLEEPING, and the other uhh, hmmm... Haha but when we were done cooking, we passed around spoonfuls of food feeding each other. Rex's a pretty darn good cook! Lucky us. There was mee sua, curry chicken and potatos, fish, egg, luncheon meet, and of course AHEM pasta!

Yep, that's what we did, we stood in a row, and peed for all our worth, and ran back to camp, half embarrassded but half proud that we did it. We were real jungle women! Now all we needed were leopard skin bras and bottoms. -.-
That was the reason why we held our shit the entire trip! Haha, we so did not want to dig a hole in the ground, shit, and then cover it back up! Though of course, it would have been good fertiliser for the soil... haha
Ahhh here comes the fun part of the night. We didn't want to sleep jsut yet, although it would have been a wise thing, since we hardly slept the night before, and we were going to have to set off at 6 plus the next morning for Bukit Paranoma. So we all gathered in the girls tent, for a reason. A 6 man tent filled with 10 people? Haha WHY? Let me tell you why. (jia zhen, laugh now) The girls were afraid of these humongous flying ants, plus baby ones, that were attracted to our torch lights! Thus, they all went screaming into the tent. ice cream makes the world go round! Best part of today? THE COFFEE ICE CREAM! =) Muahahahaha Thank you ie ting! Okay i will not be biased, thank you krystel, jocelyn, elizabeth, stephanie, jane, cherie, jia zhen, eileen, christine...... anyone i missed? Gee they put that smile on my face! Right, getting sappy here....
Anyway, this will be one short entry. Busy. Too many assignments to hand up. Exams coming. Tests. GRAAAAHHHHH
Something's funny with angel. I'm not sure if i should put it up here, cause usually i don't like putting things up on the blog, things that i might not want the world to know. But i think it's okay, right? And i can't seem to find the right time to talk to angel without interruptions so i just hope she reads this and not get mad at me. I haven't had the time nor energy to analyze the situation properly anyway, so i might be wrong. My point is, i'm feeling real guilty cause i haven't been there for angel. I'm not finding any excuses, i'm just saying time is not on our hands and i hope she understands. I think she's mad at me too, but i am at a loss. I don't know how to help her, and i can't sit down properly to think cause... everything's just too rush. I think probably my priorities have changed too, perhaps? Studies is at the top right now, and i'm just too kan chiong. Maybe it isn't as hard work as i think it is, maybe i'm just stressing myself up, but i really do find it stressful. Nothing i can't handle, but it does take up energy and brain power. AND TIME. Shoot time. It passes by way too fast.
Back to the point. Am i being paranoid, or thinking too much? Cause i sometimes think angel's smile is fake or something. Like, she's putting on a mask, and i don't know if it's an attempt to make me feel less guilty, or she wants me to guess what's up. I'm sorry angel, but it's messing with my head. I can't seem to guess very well anymore. Maybe it's ebcause i cna't see your expression, or hear your voice, so the esp thing isn't quite right. I don't know lar, but i do hope we wouldn't be mad at each other or drift like SUPER far apart, cause no matter what, it's a friendship i treaure.
Shawn smsed me but i don't quite want to disturb him. Don't know lar. Kinda tired right now. Sleepy.
So now i've said my part. I'm off! Back to studying something or toher. so many thigns to do, not quite sure where to start. And something's wrong with my dumb browser.
Maybe i need to eat more ice cream. hmmm

Trek part 3
Okay back to blogging out the trek. Sorry guys, i'll have to do point form now. There is simply no time to write in full complete sentences
We waded in a river to cross over to the other bank. For the other girls, the height of the wtaer was probably slightly below the waist. For me, it was either the chest, or in certain parts, the shoulders. Blah. I was soaking wet. Oh well
Everyone was assigned a partner to help then up the trek, and i... had no partner. -.- NVM i am superwoman, with muscles! So we climbed up slopes, walked on river beds, slipped on stones, climbed over tree trunks, slided on rocks with algae...swung from tree to tree... OKAY i was kidding with the last one, but there really was a part when we had to use a nylon rope to sort of abseil down this tiny cliff thing.

I panicked and knew i was supposed to tlak to her to calm her down or something, but i didn't know what to say to her! Argh, anyway, after that incident, i decided to continuously walk without stopping. Die die i wanted to keep on the move, cause i figured out that if i do that, leeches would not have the chance to jump on me!

Incident of the day: Jia zhen had THREE leeches on the same spot, and another one somewhere else! WOW! POWER WOMEN! Such a drama queen haha. I think they truied to burn the leeches off her or something, but in the process, she was burned a little, by the lighter. Poor girl. At least the burnt mark is no longer there... =)

Eileen and Jia Zhen yet again... Haha they look like shephered with those sticks. Useful stuff though.. Helped us along. It was like a third leg.
FINALLY we saw the waterfall. If i had the energy i could have jumped for joy, but my heart was jumping anyway. THEN WHAT?! That wasn't the end! Yes, we SAW th waterfall, but we didn't REACH it. GOODNESS i could have fainted right there... I was just looking up, up and up... wondering how on earth we were going to climb the boulders to reach the base of the waterfall sigh... For one moment there i thought we were climbing to the TOP of the waterfall but... nope. Whew! Anyway, sigh, boulders boulders boulders. Climb Climb Climb... I really felt like a spider. I was on all fours trying to find my footing, AND bearing, cause i was starting to get confused. My biggest fear was that one of the boulders would come loose and fall down on all of us. Thank you Lord for keeping me alive!
So well, Krystel, Stephanie and i were the first ones up there, so we decided to wait for Eileen and Jia Zhen.

In the mean time, we waded into the waterfalls. Halfway though, uhh i fell, and dragged everyone down with me, so we were all shivering and cold. Sebastian, one of the guys in my gorup, then cajoled us to go all the way in, since we were already wet. So we did, and spashed around wondering where eileen and jz were.

Eileen didn't want to go in, but jia zhen did! I swam back to the "shore" to "collect" her and at the same time grab a water bottle for Jean, one of my group leaders.

Somehow, jz and i spashed our way back to the girls, and within 5 minutes of jz's arrival, the girld wanted to swim back! Haha jia zhen was like "But i jsut got here!!" Therefore, we stayed a little while more. That was when we took pictures UNDER THE WATERFALL ITSELF! Cool eh? Too abd we haven't got those pictures yet. Sigh, must find the guy who used his waterproof camera lar...

Okay i was REALLY tired okay
By then, all of us were shivering lar. It was freezing cold! Gahhhh.... Time to go back! Sigh, going back down, back to our tents was one tough trek. To me, it was harder than going up. This time, i really needed a partner, and YAY louis was my knight! =) Haha i was so tired already; thus, more clumsy and had absolutely NO stability. Usually i fell, bringing louis down with me, or he fell, bringing me down with him!! -.- Haha a wonderful pair we make -.- Oh oh i nearly forgot! My group was the first one to go down, and it was my turn to carry the shared knapsack i had with jia zhen. Sigh i was a little afraid cause i was relaly scared about going down and the knapsack seemed to be hindering me. HALLEJUAH for jia zhen's partner! Ahhh more about him later! Muahahaha! For now, jsut take it that he offered to help me carry the knapsack, in addition to his own bag. BTW, he helped jz carry the bag on the way up too. Ahhhh =)
Okay blah blah blah fell down, got back up, fell down, slipped, got cuts, bruises, went back on track.... ... ... ... ... My group decided to take a funny route. Everyone used the dry root, which was the jungle terrain, but i don't know why my leader led us through the river bed -.- Oh well

Today was a rushy rushy kind of day. I woke feeling woozy, weird. Was wobbling everywhere. -.- miss wobbles. Anyway, my hp was ringing nonstop. There were so many messages! Haha all regarding the evaluations of other groups for Communications. Nightmare.
Rushed into class and realised oops, i was late. No matter, cuase the group i was evaluating is the second group, but then i had to evaluate the first group for eileen and stephanie. Felt like a little bumble bee. Haha somehow mondays are never good days. We're never on time. What can i say, it's a 9am class! And.... rekha was panicking too cause too had to evaluate a group. Hai ya, thsi evaluation thing is........... dot dot dot. Haha
Right, had english after communications class. Heard that johan had only an hour of sleep the day before. My, he's admirable! The fact that he could go to school so early (he was the first group who had to present in COM 101), WOW! I would have just continued sleeping at home and "heck care" the world. Haha oops. Okay, i FINALLY PRESENTED ON MY RESEARCH PAPER TOPIC! AHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Well the one good thing about today was that eileen and i managed to print out all our english info stuff, regarding the research paper. AHHHH feel so complete now. =) BUT no cause for celebration. WHY? I've only got the information! I have yet to do my draft of the paper! ANDDDDD There are THREE computer science assignments to hand up next week! Dying dying... Not to mention the psychology test coming up this thursday! PLUS the psychology PRESENTATION... SIGH... another presentation =( Do we have to wear ties?
Talking about psychology, gosh, my notes are everywhere! Literally! I just realised how many people have been photocopying my notes. Uhh i hope these people score. Haha if they don't, i'm so going to have a "hate club". Haha first it was jonathan, then johan, audrey, jadyn............. hmmmm...
What's the worst that could happen? They score, and i don't. Then i think i would kill myself. It's sec 2 all over again. Haha my lending of my literature textbook to timothy caused him to achieve the first position in literature, and i got a what.... 58/100 or something like that?? Haha rubbish. Oh well. I do hope i cna get a good B for psychology. Pretty disappointing, tis semester. I'm getting all Bs and Cs. Scary eh...
BUT i've got the greatest friends in SIM too! Cherie is so generous and didn't mind lending us her prison break vcds to burn. Sweet eh? She's no longer called "selfish", haha she's "selfless!" The problem is, we don't have burners. -.- Therefore, jane, my lady in shining black, came in! The poor girl's burning everything for us! Thanks you both! BUT i've got the greatest friends in SIM too! Cherie is so generous and didn't mind lending us her prison break vcds to burn. Sweet eh? She's no longer called "selfish", haha she's "selfless!" The problem is, we don't have burners. -.- Therefore, jane, my lady in shining black, came in! The poor girl's burning everything for us! Thanks you both! You're my princes who saved me from the wicked shamila! (is that her name? sha-mi-la)

Uhhh OOPS i've totally been lagging in my updates... I"m afraid my current "update" isn't very updated either. It's a continuation of the trek last last last......... week!
Oh before i forget...
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! =) hahahaha
So the 5 of us boarded the lorry. Do not ask me what possessed us to sit on the lorry instead of a jeep, or whatever else they had. Mind you, the ride on the lorry is no ordinary ride. We don't sit IN the lorry, we sit ON the lorry. Literally. PLanks were nailed across the sides of the lorry, and we sat ON THE PLANKS. In case you didn't quite catch that, we sat ON THE PLANKS. Meaning.. ON THE PLANKS!!!!! We had nothing to hold, except the planks!!! Is that scary or what? We went up and down slopes, went SQUISH across HUGE puddles of muddy water, wnet boom boom BUMP over really ROCKY paths... sigh... haha our butts! No matter, only butts right? BUT the worse was yet to come. As we were going straight into jungle-like terrain, GOODNESS. The people sitting at the sides... Poor guys! There were branches and leaves swipping past them. It was so dangerous really. You could have either fell backwards off the lorry and rolled down, or you could have been knocked down by the hanging solid branch, or you could have been cut real bad by thorns. Poor Eileen, this bumble bee thing stung her on her head. One moment she was sitting next to me, the next moment she was yelling "Get it off Get it off VERY PAIN!" I was panicking lar. i saw it on her head and i actually thought i flicked it off, but it seems that it was stuck on her scalp. Poor girl, she was crying. I have no idea what that insect was. It was black with orange stripes. Anyone knows what it is? Sigh... Well at least she didn't blank out, or suffered from any i don't know, side effects of that sting. Except for a red lump, there was nothing much. What i was worried about was that that lump contained poison or something, and that if it was not treated soon, Eileen might be real sick later. She's okay now anyway, so i guess it's fine. =)
Well, we reached the campsite, an empty piece of land. Guess what? We were to set up our tents there. So uhhh heh, the guys kinda set up the tent. And we just kinda stood around. Haha i wanted to help, but there was just nothing to do. Felt a little bad though, cause later they set up the second tent, and gave us the first one. They did EVERYTHING. Like... Uhh feel a little useless? heh

Before we could do anything else, we were told to pack our day packs as the trek to to waterfall was immediate. Goodness panicked! Haha I whipped out my obscenely bright yellow pack, and started stuffing cereal inside together with louis (cute eh? he's nearly got the same name as me! He's this guy in my group too!). Haha well we were going to have our lunch there right? Therefore, we needed food! I shared the bag with jia zhen cause i thought it would be ridiculous to carry so many bags up there. Haha she was so cute! SHe brought along these water shoes thing that SUPPOSEDLY is so effective that water does not get in. Well this theory was SO proven wrong later. HAHAHA so off we went.
Sorry guys, it seems like this blogging of the trek will never end. Maybe i'll cut it short and write in point form the next time. I've got to go now. Need to study. This is a rare day when i am free to study "on my own". There is no homework or assignments due immediately, exlcusing CSE (comptuer science) that is. =) See ya

These group of able bodied girls embarked on a treacherous trekking trip to the Rainbow Falls and Bukit Paranoma in Malaysia. At Rainbow Falls, the highlight was duh, the waterfalls haha, as can be seen from the name itself. In Bukit Pranoma, it was the SUNRISE. -.- Yes, don't laugh, we trekked all the way up, to miss the sunrise. Haha right, here's the full juicy story from miss loisa koh. . . . .

Day 1 - 20th October 2006 (Friday)
JZ AND I WERE LATE! zoom zoom zoom! I waited for her at Jurong East Mrt station, an was hopping impatiently from one foot to another. SIGH haha it was coming 7pm, and that was the time we were supposed to be AT KRNJI MRT STATION! haha Grand entrance we made indeed, with out wild and erm moppie-like hair, and our blooming big knapsakcs, we rushed, no ran, towards the bunch of OutDoor Adventure Club peeps (ODAC). Riiight, we looked like we were participating in the amazing race or something, but hey, everyone else rpetty much looked the same! WAHAHAHA some had bags bigger than hours! *snickers* AND SOME, *hey steph!* had bags as small as a harversack/schoolbag. (you so want to strangle them eh?) Krystel was real early, and she was sitting there looking like an angel. Steph and eileen were lost on their way to Kranji, so we waited for them. No worries though, as there were others who were later! In fact, jz and i could be considered early. -.- hahahaha
So the trekking gang boarded bus 170 towards JB, but as luck would have it, it was jammed. We fell out of the bus, literally, as we were still unused to the big bags, and struggled throughout the causeway... ON FOOT! It was my first time WALKING to JB, so it was kinda cool. ONe thing i loved about this trip was the experience gained.
1) the jungle like-ness of it all
2) the trekking
3) the traditional way of going into JB (walking, stumbling trhough the crowds)
etc.
At the customs, it was ridiculous. Our Singapore customs officer sure had loads of comments for us. He told Krystel to open "her curtain" (hair) as she looked very difference form her passport photo, told jz all about the departure form, and called me "boy boy". The ultimate was the Malysian side, when the guy told me "10 year old little girls shouldn't be travelling without their mothers". Wah i nearly snapped! I furiously turned to my date of birth and wordlessly stuffed it into his face. See it for yourself, you big meanie!
ps: Passport covers were amusing! Mine was normal, thank goodness, krystel's had a very nice sunshine on it, but jz... hmm, it needs further elaboration. She's disney kid! A hello kitty passport cover, mickey mouse wallet, and... a tweetybird plaster! (ahem.. haha)
Well we took bus 170 yet again to Larkin bus station, in Malaysia, and stopped at Marybrown's to eat. Sigh, that was when i found out my malaysian one rinngit-s were expired. I tired to use them to pay for my iced milo and the cashier went "These are expired already!" How embarrassing was that?! Sigh...

Right, onwards, march march march, to the coach we hired! ARGHHH a 6 hours bus ride! I could have died in there. We were rushing to put our bags at the back, so i took out only my windbreaker (GB's one), and left everything else! Thankgoodness Jia zhen brought her MP3 player along to entertain us. We listened to quite a few songs, so wasn't so sick on the bus. After a while, was a bit tired already, so went to sleep. I mean come on, it was like 2 plus in the morning? Haha our body clock went so wrong... Krystel sat with another guy in our group, and i felt a little cause she was alone. Anyway, i think it was better for her to sit there in the end, cause jz and i were a little uncomfortable in our seats. We were as good as stuck! Nevermind, we'll leave it as that.
FINALLY the bus had a rest stop. We all got off to pee, and pee, and peeeeeeee..... Everyone were so zombieliked and cold. So off we trooped to the coffee shop to get our hot milo. Before the milo could even arrive, the whole lot were back boarding the bus already. We were like "WHAT?!" *panicks* I was trying to gorge down my milo as quickly as posisble but it was so SO scorching hot!! Actually, i wanted to finish the whole cup, but since the girls were so fast in drinking, i decided to forgo the lasy half of my milo. =) Was quite sad. Haha, all the way to the bus i was literally thinking longingly of that half filled cup of MILO.
Well back to the bus.. sigh... back to our seats... sigh... back on the road... sigh... back to sleep... sigh...
ARRIVAL! SQ...
Okay so not so high class. Just the arrival of a very normal coach at Sungei Lembing! We packed our daypacks, AND GOT TO BRUSH OUR TEETH! Haha, a very rare thing down there... After that, the interesting part comes...

Well well well...
I got back my CSE (computer science) grade today! Just realised something, peopel are never ever contented with what they have. I mean, how much can we improve in such a short period of time right? Not to worry, i'm not pointing fingers at anyone, only at myself really haha. You see, i failed my first BASIC computer science test 2 weeks back, perhaps? I had 5/10, but in SIM, that ain't the passing mark. The passing mark is 60 %. Annoying right? haha Such high standards.
Anyway, this time round, for the mid terms, HEY i passed!!! BUT i got a C grade, i think. 25/40. I know i passed, but i dare not calculate the actual grade. It could be a C-, or a D, but whatever, i don't really want to know. Initially i was so ultra excited, SUPER happy, cause i thought " OEI LOISA KOH MEI SHI! You passed girl! You're the genius of the world! SUPERGIRL!" hahahaha yeah narcissist i know haha, but give me some credit here, i IMPROVED. That is the important thing right? Always improving, that's the best anyone can hope for.
Yet... After a while, i began to feel... sore? I don't know, like hey, why couldn't i have got better? Oh, but what the heck, i'll do better for the finals eh? As long as i improve, i'm the luckiest girl on the planet!
