OH YEAH!! I forgot to blog about the bus drivers... which therefore leads to the 1st episode of...

The Bus Series

So a few days ago, i was taking the bus with jia zhen home, and it was pretty late, with many people on the bus. Jz and i couldn't even find seats, so we had to sit on the ones facing backwards, pretty near the front. I missed my stop, and rushed to press the bell. When the bus came to a stop, i tapped my ez link card at the front, and waited for the driver to open the doors for me. I waited, then decided it was too long a wait, so i asked him to open the doors for me. He scolded me in chinese, the china kind of chinese, very curtly, very loudly, and gestured for me to use the back doors. Like what the heck?? I would have.. if

1) i was nearer to the back
2) if there were not so many people
3) if the machine on the front didn't state "entrance/exit". If it states exit, i obviously am allowed to exit by the front doors as well! ZZZZ

i mean, i ALWAYS check, so i don't make a fool of myself when the machine beeps cause it will not register my card. SO anyway, i took a second bus back to my right stop, and the moment i boarded the bus, i got another scolding, cause i was too slow in tapping my ez link card, or rather, the machine was too slow in registering it. Zzz so when i tried to take the card out of my wallet, the guy scolded me. SO. zzzz

Today was interesting... So i went on a shopping spree with mum. Actually, i was cheated. She kindly offered to drive me to queensway to collect the photocopied textbooks, and after that, whoo, she dragged me everywhere to shop with her. Geez... very cunning mother. But anyway, because of that, i got quite a few things HEE! I got birthday presents, christmas presents, a bag for myself (yes eileen, you may scream with joy now), a pair of complicated shoes, and some weird dress but shorts thing.

Bag - i like... haha cause you can sling it as well as carry it on your shoulder! It's called a "tote" right? Anyway, the print's kinda feminine, but sigh... can live with it haha

Shoes - It's kinda like slippers? REALLY REALLY complicated, like you have a thousand staps on it? haha and the MOST interesting bit? there are excess strings at the sides, to tie AROUND and UP your calf? ahahahah!!! It's gonna take me at least 15 minutes to wear those man!! But they were cheap and my size! Well not exactly but the strings hold the slippers to my feet so YAY!

Dress shorts - erm... this is a one piece, but shorts instead of a open dress? Okay hard to explain. It's like those pinafore denim shorts with suspenders, except instead of suspenders, it's an attached top! I love it cause it's sooo comfy. Only problem i have with it is that it's sleeveless, so.. back to jackets and scarves and shawls.

Oh yeah, the plaster jane put on me today came out today, well half of it, and yucks, weird. It was supposed to be one small scratch, but suddenly it became a hole. So i quickly pasted it back. It must have opened up or something, lucky jane put the plaster on.

Oh btw jane, my parents love you, and they've been repeating it for around 8 times each. This shows my parents are hitting their elderly age. Mum and dad repeatedly asked me the whole day -->

Parents: ehh why do you have a plaster on your erm?
Loisa: I hit my arm on the toilet roll dispenser. So there's a cut.
Parents: You put the plaster on yourself?

(cause usually i don't like pressing the plaster on the wound, so i prefer not to use plasters)

Loisa: Nah, jane plastered it on me.
Parents: Awww such a sweet jane.
Loisa: ah yeah

-15 minutes later for dad, 30 minutes later for mum-

Parents: ehh is that a plaster on your arm?
Loisa: cut. toilet roll dispenser. jane.
Parents: aww such a nice jane

Parents: LOIS!! did you hurt your arm??!
Loisa: gahh

Finally watched bits and pieces of the champion league... Nearly jumped out of the balcony when my darling ronaldo missed the penalty. That thought came after murderous intent of course...

AHHHHHHHHHHHHH pebbles has something beside her third nipple! It's a HUGGEEE pimple! Flaming red.. OOO pain pain painful!!!!

I screamed earlier in the day when i saw it. For a moment, i thought her breast was swollen or something. WAH PIANG. If it's a growth i'm gonna yell the whole of Marbella down. Cause that would mean surgery, having to cut the thing away.

OOOOOOO okay i'll go eat something. Calm myself down. Gotta bring pebbles to see the vet tomorrow. Honestly, all my savings are going into her medical bills! A dog's haircut and doctor's bills are more expensive than my own!

Remind me again why i got a dog? The expenses are killing me.

Oh right, cause i LOVE DOGS AND I LOVE PEBBLES! =))

AHA! I'm outta that depressing mood already! =)

I have realized that i should be contented with what i have, and what i want or need, the good Lord will provide in His own time, according to His will, and with my best interest at heart.

Anyway, was stalking my cousins through facebook! HAHA no la... I'm trying to connect with them, so when i was given an opportunity to add one of them, i decided to search for the whole gin gang. Here's a picture i never knew i took with them! Gives me a warm feeling in my heart =)

i was going to type a whole post about what i'm thinking now, but i've decided, no one wants to read it anyway. A little depressing and ughh.. emotional.

Wel well well, the whole family was watching american idol tonight. During the commercials, mum and dad saw this advertisement of Madonna's newest music album. It protrayed a VERY seductive, suggestive, and provocative (yeah i have a lot of symnnonyms for it thanks to COM 242's research paper) Madonna. SO guess what my dear parents said?

Mum: (turns to dad) You know ah? I'm actually the same age as Madonna you know? (does a little boogie dance on the table)
Dad: Hah? What did you say? Stop dancing on the coffee table. You will break it again.
Mum: (glares) I SAID, i am the SAME AGE as MADONNA!!
Dad: (looks sideways at mum, in an incredelous voice) HAH?? A lot of difference leh! What happened to you?

Mum then looks at me with this constipated look on her face. I shrug. What can you expect from MEN? hahahahaha!

GREETINGS FROM LOISA!!

Today jia zhen and i did up birthday presents for our friends. Shoot, can't describe what we did here cause it's a surprise! Wahahaha... anyway, she showed me a few pictures she took on her way to my place.

For some odd reason, she was also very excited by the leaves in the planter box.. So. There you have it.

My dog's medicinal cupboard. Sigh. Too bad i forgot to take one of my grandpa's too, so now lazy to take it. My room is a hospital. Medicinal drawers everywhere, for everyone. Gahhh Loisa Nightingale at yer service... hahahaha

So anyway, i met Angel on Saturday. Had Carl's junior for lunch, and the burger once again, IS HUMONGOUS. But wahahah my big mouth gobbled it all up! I even ate faster then angel, how cool is that? Considering that she's always been at me about eating too slow in secondary school! Hahahaha but okay lar granted, she was talking while i was eating. -_- ANGEL! Rub zambak on that bruise

We shopped at "This Fashion", and i did not fail to make a nuisance of myself, again. I was never good at shopping. Angel was about to hammer me on my head within minutes. I stripped one of the mannequins btw. She (i'm sure it's a she since she had a chest), was wearing some dress with strings tied around her neck. It's called a halter neck or something right? Anyway, i learnt my lesson the last time from tugging at the display clothes, cause they always come off. But this time, since it's tired to her neck, it WOULDN'T and SHOULDN'T come off right? NOOO it proceeded to fall off, exposing all assests of the poor mannequin. So well, i couldn't put it up again, and angel and i slithered off. Sigh... and everything angel picked out for me, i had some form of comment about it, so i doubt she's ever going shopping with me again. hahahaha sorry girl! I'll try to erm.. hmmm... well.

Oh yeah, we looked for jobs in the newspapers as well, and it was quite horrible. Not many jobs available for students these days. Poor us. Saw something promising though, just ONE, to do with small animals. Of course i immediately zoomed into that one, so we'll be applying for it. May, or may not, get it. Oh well. My holidays are short, can't do much.

We've got loads of plans for the holidays, my school mates and i. But planning seems to be a problem hahaha. So we'll see. Birthdays coming up too, AHHHHH and my silly laptop is still NOT fixed. grumble mumble dad mumble grumble... LOOONNNG story.

My wonderful relatives have suddenly disappeared from the face of the earth and are missing in action. The moment my grandfather's doctor appointment came up, there was a spur of activity and fluttering of papers --> some go vacation la, got church activities, cousins are working, busy cooking for family blah blah, then silence. Everyone was gone. Only mum and me were left at the family conference table. SO. Fill in the blanks. My mum's working, and now it's up to me alone to travel around Singapore on Thursday.

The Plan
1. Travel from dover to hougang. Reach there are 7am. SNOOREE
2. Bathe him, feed him breakfast, clean him up. Shave him. Cut nose hair (ugh), not a pretty sight.
3.. Travel from hougang to queensway WITH HIM!! (help) Should probably take like a taxi, but sooo expensive.
4. See all his doctors. Will probably be done at 5 plus pm so gotta give him lunch too.
5. Bring him back to hougang. Settle his dinner and my own.
6. Travel home to dover. By then i should be asleep on the bus, and will probably miss my bus stop haha!
7. GO TO BED.

Whew. Thank goodness i love my grand dad, if not ah... BOOM black face, red eyes, pout, hair on fire, dress in black... hahahaha emo. no la...

Holidays

Well well well, the school holidays are HEREEEEE!!

So anyway, i'm lagging in posts, pictures and yeah well, everything else! So to cut short, and of course, i''ll just post up some cannot-not-post-up pictures of pretty things =) Oh yeah, and i'm also a little lazy lar, cause i borrowed 16 books from the library yesterday, and by the end of today, i completed 5 books, so WELL. -_- I'm having fun catching up with all my reading. Schoolwork has been depriving me of my library book! ROAR

Okay, so mum bought me a pair of cheapo fun slippers from the market. Yeah yeah, i've heard it all

Guess who's eating! Yep that's jocelyn! We escaped from one of those dreary COM 125 classes to eat. We were sleepy, bored, and hungry. It's not bad, you should try it! Something giam for you taste buds...

Joce ate her giam thing, i drank chocolate milk, which by the way is SUPERBLY expensive, do never purchase it from the canteen. It's not even that nice. And the packaging is ridiculous. See what i had to do just to be able to open it and insert the EXTREMELY short straw, which IMMEDIATELY slipped all the way into the packet of milk. ZZZ

Okay this was taken during one of the days we were studying. Sigh the stress of school. Oh HELLP!!

Yep that's about it for now! Back to studying for my Nutrition exam tomorrow. Oh dratz!!

BUUUUUUUUUUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I. Am. Traumatized. This post is not going to make much sense, cause i'm not thinking at the moment. Thinking properly and sanely at the moment that is. This Jane. I want to OOOO strangle her. BUHH. Shouldn't have eaten that peanut butter sandwich. Totally vomited it out. Can't study marketing now already.

I opened this email, about saving animals in china, cause they're being skinned BUHHH... alive... BUHHHHH... and there was this video... BUHHH!!! I watched like a minute of it, and the peanut butter sandwich just came pouring out. Actually i choked really, cause i was sniffing too much, then choked over the bread. Buhh...

The poor furry things were... BUHHH... struggling ALIVE while men were just cutting... BUHHH... like like, literally skinning like... you know??? As in, they used a scissors and start SKINNING the paws? As in literally cutting and SLICING and fur away? Can you imagine? It's torture. Imagine someone skinning the skin off your fingers, starting from the edge of your nails, and slowly skinning your arm, meanwhile hitting your face with... BUHHH....

Okay want to cry again. Where's my doggg? I want to hug my dog. PEBBLES!!!

Whoever. Even. Attempts. To. Try. That. With. My. Dog. Will. Have. To. Go. Through. Me. And. Believe me. I WILL put up a huge fight, probably resulting in the CRIMINAL'S DEATH!!!

AHHH i woke up late today. But i was NOT late for school! -grin- Was so superbly tired, AGAIN. Geez, school list is terrible. If you sleep too much the night before, you can't sleep the next night. And then you'll be really tired in the day, and well, the cycle continues. Sigh...

Anyway, i just realized that i have the vision of an infant below 2 years old. Phyliss presented her COM 242 presentation today --> Impact of educational media content on infants. She mentioned that the vision of an infant below the age of 2, has a vision of 20/400.

Haha right back to studying again. It just dawned on me that there's loads to study for the exams. It's STUDY, mind you. Not REVISION. At least with revision, you're done with the STUDYING part. BUT GEEZ, i've not even completed the studying. Dratz.

14th APril 2008

ROAARRRR today must be the most chaotic day of my school life. Had two presentations today, and had to wear a jacket to prove formality when presenting. WHOA TIRED. Slept super duper late trying to do up the scripts of both presentations. So i slept at close to 4am. Actually i was taking a nap, but Gary failed to wake me up! ROAR so i slept til 7 plus. Shoots. Woke up, panicked, and set to work immediately.

Yikes, was late for school so i RAN. Imagine me running for my life up 7 flights of stairs and down 3 flights. GAHHH. Anyway, reached school on time, SUPERBLY tired. Chaos. Guess what? First lesson was from 10.45 - 12.15pm. Next lesson's from 1pm to 2.30pm.

Had COM 242 presentations from 10.45 ALL THE WAY TO 12.55!!! NO TIME FOR LUNCH! The moment i ended my presentation, i couldn't wait for the rest. Jia zhen and i RAN LIKE THE WIND for our next class, as our second presentation for the day was at 1pm!! Can you imagine? The HUNGER? The FATIGUE? MY GOODNESS. Was so mad, so angry, so tired.

Oh and guess what? The PowerPoint slides were not printed yet, my script for that presentation was not completed, so well, my other team members ran down to the library to print out our report. Like hell, that day. Our lecturer came in, everyone was ready to start, a Jonathan, our team member, mysteriously disappeared! WAH PANIC ATTACK SIA. My jacket was all stiff on me, DAMM PANICKY! Sigh... was so terribly hungry. During the presentation itself, whoa a lot of screw ups. Panic attack came on again. My script became the printed out report, and when it was given to the lecturer halfway through the presentation for reference, i was like perspiring, cause SHOOT NO SCRIPT!!!! A member presented way too much during the presentation also. PANIC again! Cause most of what he said, wasn't in the report. And i myself had lost him, and the class wasn't listening anymore, and he was over presenting, into another member's portion. GAH PANIC! And during my part, i made a stupid mistake, saying "Kill two stones with one bird". ROAAARRR didn't realize it even when the class was laughing. Sigh.. *WAILS*

So basically, the whole day was ridiculous.

After school, we had lunch, and jiz zhen was quite sick. Gave her a gastric pill, but i think it made her vomit everything out instead. At least she felt better after that =) Moral of the story? Always eat before school, cause the lecturers' timing cannot be trusted. School is for anorexics. You starve there.

After school, i accompanied eileen on the bus, since i was going to visit my grandpa at hougang. Ahh have not visited him for quite some time, so decided to do so the moment i get some free time. Have been planning it for sooo long. Both of us fell asleep on the bus la! Such a long trip, so tired. Sigh... Fortunately Eileen awake exactly at where she's supposed to alight, if not, she can cry all the way home already! When she alighted, kenneth came to sit with me, since he was gonna walk me to where my grandpa is.

Wah as if the day wasn't bad enough, kenneth totally brought the fireworks on. He was crapping all the way on the bus, until i couldn't sleep, cause was too annoyed with him. He continued to crap all the way to IMH, where i REALLY wanted a car, any car, to knock him down. When it looked like it was going to rain, i was wondering if a tree would fall on him. Okay okay, he's good company, but sheesh, he can really annoy you to the max with his crappy jokes.

By the time we reached IMH, i had blisters all over my feet, and i was SUPER hot. Bear in mind i still had my blazer on. Kenneth didn't go up with me this time, to the relief of both of us. Cause the last time, my grandfather thought he was my boyfriend!

OH YEAH KENNETH! If you're reading this, i forgot to tell you. My kong kong asked me "Where's your boyfriend today? Didn't come with you?" I got stunned.

Told him, "Kong kong, i have no boyfriend. Still in school, no time for hanky panky. You want me to do well in school right? Half the boys in my school don't love me for who i am, the other half drive me crazy, and they stalk me. I will wait til next time to get a boyfriend okay. In the meantime, you can be my boyfriend kong kong."

Wah then the silly old man started smiling happily and dranky MY packet of drink - winter melon, which is SWEET btw!! He can't drink that! But oh well. Let him have a little bit of fun in his life.

I stayed for about 10 minutes, then had to go home for dinner already since it was so late. That was the ultimate time when kenneth really drove me bonkers. He was sitting next to the dustbin on the floor, when i came out of the building. So pai seh. I quickly walked super fast so i will not be associated with him. =P But thank you lar, but bringing me there.

Oh and since he knows the place better than me, Kenneth should be leading the way, and showing me all the short cuts to get home right? NOOO SIRREE! That silly donkey walked super slow until i was leading, and FOLLOWED ME THE WRONG WAY BACK. So we walked one extra round to reach the original block 6, and continued walking straight back home. A REDUNDANT ROUND. WASTE TIME CAN. WASTE ENERGY CAN. And because we walked an extra round, it started to RAIN. And we were CAUGHT IN THE RAIN. SO my jeans were wet. AND MY UMBRELLA BROKE. All because kenneth made me walk that extra round!!!

Should have taken pictures to show you the scenery of IMH, since we walked practically the whole of it!! But i was too busy thinking of ways to attack kenneth. GEEZ. Took the shuttle bus back to Hougang. Didn't know there's a shuttle bus. Kenneth can tell me "Oh i forgot about it". -SMACK-

Long journey back home again, had dinner, studied a little, went online to do work, replied hi to eileen, and proceeded to conk out on my keyboard. Wonderful. Slept for 12 hours. Best sleep of my life.

The amount of walking and exercise and vocal energy i used to scream at kenneth came in handy, cause i think i lost weight and voice. ZZZZZ kenneth spoilt my lungs as well.

I was brushing my teeth in the bathroom, when a thought suddenly occurred to me.

I realized why i love animals so much, and it ain't just for the company! I think animals and birds are so much easier to deal with than humans. They don't judge you, they don't complain, and they're loyal too!

Alright, so my dog isn't very loyal. -_- She's on the side of anyone who feeds her!! *growl* Oh anyway, she's on my lap now. She just loves being cuddled. Ah YEAH! And animals let you love them!! If you love them too much and suffocate them with your hugs, they won't go bonkers. They'll love and lick you right back!

aha! So that's why i love animals! Humans are complicated things. They rarely forget, find it hard to forgive, and have little love to give unconditionally.

I wanna get more dogs, more rabbits, a few hamsters, mice, birds! AN OWL if you please! Haha okay an owl's really out of the option, but i was thinking, a cockatoo? A pretty white bird. Pretty green love birds? Haha budgies!

Sigh, i'm so gonna get a farm with jocelyn once we get out of the singapore system.
