An Only Child

Oh yeah, i just decided to name the advantages and disadvantages of being an only child. All whose first reaction is

"Shoot! Loisa must be spoilt since she's an only child" can go jump into the lake. I REALLY dislike hearing that come out from a person's mouth, especially if it's for the first time that the person has met me.

Advantages

1. Sure, i get my parents attention but eh come on, do you REALLY want your parents' attention ALL THE TIME? That's like eerie, and they're always watching you... *shiver*

2. Your parents will kinda protect you a little more, cause hey, no one wants to lose their only child. I guess i would not exactly be more precious, as every child is precious to their parents, but as i'm the only "KOH" left, i think my parents would "kind of" feel it more if anything happens to me

3. Yeah okay i don't have to fight with siblings or suffer from jealousy or anything, but then again, my survival and independant skills wouldn't be as good right? For example, at the food table, my parents love me so much they leave food for me, even when i'm a slow eater. With siblings, you have to practically FIGHT with CHOPSTICKS to get the stuff you want to eat. BUT, that gives you the fighting spirit, it makes you eat faster, it makes you defend for yourself.

4. Okay i'm not going to hit this option down like i did for the first 3 advantages. This fourth one is the best advantage of all. I get to have a dog. Plain and simple. =) and I'm loving it!!

Disadvantages

1. I'M SO LONELY. I've got no humans to talk to, and none to reply me. I talk to plants, lizards, and a dog, who woofs in reply. That's so not gonna improve my english language. -.-" Lately, my parents have been working lots, so don't give me that attitude and say "oh loisa, but you've got ALL your parents attention." I will like, slap you! Nah, haha, i'm gentle, but i hope you get my point =)

2. Since grown ups are supposedly less prone to mistakes or something like that, the kid is usually the "naughty" one in the house, and that's loisa!

For example: Pipe choked. Loisa must be balding, all her hair must have clogged up the pipe. Loisa's fault.

Computer spoil. Loisa's fault. Isn't she the one who uses it the most?

Windows (in master bedroom mind you) not closed. Must be Loisa's fault.

Telephone out of battery. Loisa's fault.

Parents' work papers lost. HAS to be loisa cause she's so untidy she must have dumped her things everywhere and now the papers are lost. Loisa's fault.

Basically, anything that goes wrong in the house, loisa's fault. Why? Cause she's supposedly home most of the time, there's no one else at home since dad's working and mum would never do anything so wrong; thus, it's loisa!!

*mutter*

I'm not being bitter, but hey yeah, see it from my point of view! No siblings to share the burden, no cousins to cry with or go out with, ahhh BORING. Haha no life. Nah... That's all.

I'm just ranting -.- But i love my family, there ain't no doubt about it. =)
