17th June 2007 (Great Trek of Loisa)

People of Singapore, you now see before you, a transformed Loisa. A beautiful, slim, graceful, glamorous...

(I was yawning and my neighbor snapped a picture of me)

Okay no. But hey, there's a reason for this. I just spent the last one and a half hours exercising. SERIOUS exercising. Non stop exercise.

By the way, i slept at 7am, and woke up at 10am, so I'm already quite dead. But thanks to the exercise, my body is now dead, but my mind fully awake.

Piano lesson ended at 3pm. 3pm i happily walked down 19 stories, stupidly thinking i might as well exercise a bit. I then walked to the bus stop, stupidly stood there for quite some time, and grumbled to myself why the bus was taking so long.

I couldn't take it anymore, and i went to glare at the bus sign. OH MY GOODNESS GRACIOUS PUFF!!! The bus does not operate on Sundays!!!!! Very good. So i gathered up what loisa strength i had, and started walking, from the furthest end of buona vista, to the furthest end of dover.

About one bus stop away, i saw an old OLD man on a wheelchair, and an old OLD lady walking. They were together, probably man and wife. The lady was walking with a stick, the old man was wheeling himself, and their groceries were on the handles of the wheelchair. They were going in the same direction, so i thought, "ai ya, better walk in front, cause the roads later will be very narrow, kena stucked behind them very jia lact, lose momentum of walking, i will die."

Okay loisa slaps herself now. Cause guess what, the old OLD couple overtook me within 10 minutes. So walk some more, my face was getting redder. It was then where we reached Mount Sinai Rise, which is a LONG STEEP SLOPE. At the top of the hill would be my place.

I stood at the bottom, staring up, thinking how i would like to spend the last few minutes of my life. And to note, the couple were half way up the hill already. So i looked down at my feet, took a deep breath, and marched upwards.

SUDDENLY

"??? How come got rambutan rolling past me. And another, and another.... hmmm..."

THEN

EH SIAM ARH SIAM ARH!!!!

"What the...?"

Loisa looks up.... SSSSSSSSSHOOOOOOOTTTTT! Wheel chair rolling backwards!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH oranges, apples, rambutans rolling zig zag towards me.... RUN RUN RUN!!!

So the scenario...

Old lady clippety clack down the hill after her husband, who was rolling straight down towards me, and the oranges, apples and rambutans were already criss crossing each other past me...

SHOOT. Dilemma. Run for my life, or attempt to stop the rolling old man, and get flattened in the process?

Decision. Be the heroine.

*Olympics music comes on*

Loisa knew if she wouldn't be able to stop a wheelchair which was gathering speed, on the slope. So she threw her bag down and ran for the bottom of the slope, to stop the wheelchair there.

SUCCESS! Loisa is alive. But guess what? The grocery bags had split open, thus the rolling fruits. So the old man held the fruits in his hands, while i PUSHED THE WHEELCHAIR UP THE SLOPE.

Yeah *pant pant*

Okay drama over. Reached the lifts of loisa's block.

??? ARGHHH both lifts spoilt!!!! MUST CLIMB UP 21 STORIES!

Fine. so i climbed, and climbed, and climbed.

Reached the 21st level... OMG this is one sickening-biased-against-loisa day!!! The door between the stair case and my level was locked!!!! The security guard forgot to unlock it for us residents!!!!

FINE. I slided down 21 stories to get the guard, and then CRAWLED, yes CRAWLED. LITERALLY. Up the stairs, again 21 stories, after him, and finally...

HOME. Ahhh bliss.

In total, i climbed 19+21+21+21 stories today, walked from end of buona vista to end of dover, walked up a slope, only to run down it, and to go up again...

Yeah. I'm skinny now. Thanks to the Great Trek of Loisa.

very funny people. (-.-)

But haha, yeah i laughed too!!! Ah well, sometimes life gets more dramatic when you're tired, then everything seems to go really ridiculously wrong -.-"

Eh what happened to our exercise routine? I thought we were supposed to get together once a week since last sem, to exercise?

haha is it that scary? i scared myself too actually, when i published the post and saw it up on the blog for the first time. can't seem to make the picture smaller. It's a little too big for my liking but oh well... haha gives me more incentive to post more so the picture won't be right on top!!
