Today was a... weird day. Haha a rainy day too. Can buy 4D, and the winning number is "4344". I think. Correct me if i'm wrong, jia zhen. Eileen couldn't make it!!! Another time yeah?

Plans for today:
- Be pampered by Jielong, who was going to make us breakfast, PLUS drive us to east coast park to cycle. (i love this guy! haha)
- Be done around noon time
- Go home and bring grandfather for his hospital appointment
- Go to bed
- Thursday free

Anyway, the day started off with me mumbling in the morning. I was ever so tired, but i had to force my butt off the bed since argh, jia zhen and i had to meet kenneth and jielong at bedok, at 10am! AM! IN THE MORNING! Haha okay so i've been sort of a lazy bum. Holidays are meant for one to sleep in, REALLY in! But so far, i've been waking up ridiculously early, and sleeping insanely late. My bad. Okay. So i rushed to dover mrt station, where i was supposedly supposed to meet jia zhen. The dear girl (slap) though, kindly smsed me to say she's still having her breakfast!! slap So, i walked back home, and waited. And waited and waited. Then, i thought hey, go to the mrt station already lar, scarly miscommunication then even later. I was super kan chiong because we were already late and i was so pai seh if the guys had to wait for us.

Aha finally jia zhen got her butt moving, haha, and we travelled down to tanah merah instead, which was more convenient for everyone. Meanwhie, kenneth was nagging nagging nag nag nagggggggging away on the handphone about "how fast we can fly to tanah merah", and "how slow we were" etc. Zzzz Okay nevermind.

So we finally got together, and chionged off to rent bicycles.

"hmmm interesting... WHERE IS THE RENTAL SHOP?!"

We had NO IDEA where the bicycle rental was -.- We walked, walked walked, ahhh it started drizzling. Oh well. Don't waste time. The bicycles were priced at $6 for three hours so hey, why not? It was ONLY drizzling, right?

WRONG!! It started to pour later, when we were at the jetty. Just when we were enjoying the breeze, commenting how lovely the sea breeze is, how relaxing it was..."ROAR" thunder thunder!! Oh man, such a bad day! Haha there was lightning too! So die die not choice haha, had to run for shelter, not before we were half drenched though! Right... So we shiver shiver shiver, shiver some more, shiver yet again, before we decided to cycle furiously in the pouring rain to find better shelter, and to EAT. We were STARVING.

*Peddle duriously* Destination reached! Jielong's nice warm car, paired with nice cold, soggy food -.- But hey, haha we were ever so grateful. At that moment, i could have bowed down to him and kiss his feet. He as good as prepared a picnic for us lar!! There was PIZZA! There was GARLIC BREAD! There was erm, some funny LEMONADE CARBONATED DRINK! Haha cool eh? Haha kai and eliz, both of you, take back your words now!

JIELONG CAN SO COOK GOOD FOOD! Hahahaha

Aha okay back to cycling, and my best record ever! That would be.. falling off my bike twice. An embarassmennt to the name of LOISA. Haha! The first time, i can't remember why i fell off, but the result was cool! I actually FLEW OFF THE BIKE! Like seriously, FLEW OFF. God's blessings though, absolutely nothing happened to me. I flew up into the air, one leg got caught under the bicycle, but since i was wearing slippers, it slipped off and i landed on my two feet. No foot was sprained, no bruises, no cuts. Just a terrified loisa. Whew!

Second incident --> Kenneth. Slap. Together with jielong, both of them were trying to squeeze me, like what the heck? Squeeze squeeze until i nearly pushed jielong onto the grass. I was so scared that he would fall, i turned my wheel, and somehow the whole bicycle went haywire, and i fell, again. This time, it was worse. The front brake broke, and loisa did not fly. Loisa got caught. MY SHIN!!! OOOOO two homongous bruises. (They will definitely be extremely colourful tomorrow. Probably black, blue, red, green, purple etc.) I had a few tiny cuts here and there on my foot, but that's about it. What hurt the most were the bruises. Wahhhh "donkey, pls die". They not enough, must try and squeeze jia zhen also. "Just slap them, you have my blessings."

Right, so we explored nearly the entire east coast park. Pretty cool. There were jettys; some stupid spiral path which made my head spin; beautiful sandcastles; some giant longkang which a kingfisher i never saw, plus NUMEROUS puddles which we cycled through on purpose; therefore, getting ourselves wet; an extreme number of cats everywhere!

Oh about the cats, HAHA! I don't know why, it was a cat population out there! I saw one, and only one cat, and being loisa, i HAD to play with it. Before i knew what was coming, a whole lot of cats came trotting towards me. WHHHOOOAAA???! Kenneth, being kenneth, had to scare most away by "ROARING", in which he went "WOOF!" (?? that's a roar? haha i think not!) The funny part was, kenneth started to attract the cats instead! Haha hilarious!

I guess that should be about it. By the time we were done, it was four plus, and my mum was working, so there was no dinner at home; my dad was having a dinner with his colleagues; my aunt wanted to bring my grandfather for his appointment instead; SOOO loisa was free! We had to wash our legs since they were full of gears oil, mud, rain, sand and what not. Then it was dinner time! YAY my favourite time of the day!

Ahaha jielong spoiled us again. He drove us to Bedok for the famous Bak Chor Mee. AHHHH mama mia!! *yum* Still hungry, kenneth ate nasi lemak WITHOUT the nasi lemak fish (which we don't see the point of buying nasi lemak in the first place -.-), and the rest of us had chicken wings. AHHH =) SHIOK! AND AHHHHH, jia zhen-and-loisa-go-crazy time!! We walked around a few pet shops... AHHHHHHHHHHHH the rabbits and hamsters were ADORABLE!!! The fishes were well, fishy, and the birds were uber cute as well! HAHA! I want a cockatoo!

Right we were feeling so full and sleepy, we just fell asleep in the car, so jielong drove to eliz's place to collect her schoolbooks, drove to tanah merah to pass the books to jaden... Ai yo... all that driving... And he finally chucked us at tanah merah mrt station.

Goodness we were so blur!! Haha we walked into the underpass to get to the mrt station, and when we went up the escalator, guess what we saw? The other side of tanah merah. HAH??? Hahahaha! We totally could not find the entrance to the mrt station! Then, we realized the entrance was in the middle. -.-"

Right train home, had supper, fell asleep in supper. Now i'm off to bed. Cannot take it. I'm dead tired. Loisa is beginning to resemble a stone fish. No NO! I CANNOT look like a kenneth!

Orientation

So well... all about the orientation from a helper's point of view...

WARNING: Bear in mind that this is how a helper experienced the orientation. It's not really important, cause it's the freshmen's day. It's their day. I pray that they make the best of friends in UB SIM. Orientations are neccessary i believe, because UB is such an informal environment, it's hard to make friends. Thus, with orientations, you can make friends faster and easier. I do sincerely hope with all my heart that everyone enjoyed themselves! Actually, i think the orientation was a success! Haha as Shanas said, it's one of the "most happening" orientations available.

From my side though, "helpers" were basically not needed, so as a human being, i feel ridiculously dumb for "hanging around, nothing to do but frown..." (carpenters song haha)

To sum it up, it was like, MURDER, SAYANG, SLAP, MURDER, a tinge of brightness, SLAP, a little bit of hope, MURDER. Then dead. HAHA (the dead part is the falling asleep part -.-)I guess to most of the OGLs and committee members, it wasn't so bad, but for jia zhen and me, we were forgettable helpers. volunteers. extras. No one likes to be forgotten, but that we were. And it was well, it wasn't nice.

The first part was "MURDER", simply because it was like death, and it was hard to resurrect us. I arrived in school around 8.30am? Jia Zhen arrived at 9am. Our duties were to start at 1.30 pm. -.- So for most of the first part, we were dead really. Nothing to do, didn't know anything, blur tiao, extra, lost, possibly a bit sian. After all, people have fun when they have things to do right? Or rather when they have things to do, it takes their mind of the "lonliness of life". Jeez, there's something wrong with me. I'm beginning to sound like Kenneth. I enjoyed the pick up ride though, although it was super unglam since our hair was flying all over the place, but hey it was cool! =)

As for the "SAYANG" part, ahhh things started looking up when we started to get ready to be station masters. =) We started to feel a little excited and although the initial game wasn't feasible, we managed to come up with another game plan to go with. We had to wreck our brains a little, but that's good. We have to exercise our minds once in a while. It was all fun and games, and certain groups were pretty hilarious, (*cough* such as steph and kenneth's group which was super enthu and ACTUALLY listened to instructions!!) but...After a while things got a little stale. This was where we got "SLAPPED". It was kinda hot, and some groups were quite dead, so the game wasn't as fun for them as it was for others i think. Towards the end, the last few remaining groups were demoralized i guess, so they weren't very happy that they "lost" before they even played the game! There's this rule that if you're late for more than 10 minutes, you forfeit. Yeah? So yep. OH there was one funny part though! Haha we carried a whole lot of NEWater bottles for the freshmen and whoever else to drink, in case they dehydrate. But, as we placed them beside us in paragon, and we were sitting there so still and for ever so long, tourists who walked past believed we were selling water, PLUS the SAF camouflage cream (which were equipment needed for the forfeit of our station). A caucasian couple said "what a shame" that we were not selling the water, as it was such a hot day, so jia zhen directed them to the 7-11 nearby. It was hilarious! I started being cheeky and yelled "$2.50, $2.50, NEWater NEWater for sell!!" Jia zhen was glaring at me i think haha. We posed a lot too, since so many people seemed to be taking pictures of the spot where we were sitting... For a clearer picture, do take a look at jia zhen's blog. It's funny! Haha!

Anyway, we got "MURDERED" again later on when we had nothing to do but lean against a pillar and stare at everyone around us. There was seriously nothing to do, and we were stoning. Walling. Becoming cement. We were kinda out of place, sometimes walking in and out of the chalet, going in and out of the room, then sitting against our favourite pillar again.

At the end of the tunnel, there was a little light, "A TINGE OF BRIGHTNESS". We could be useful! Krystel was feeling really tired, effects of a lack of sleep, she looked bad, poor thing. But since she was feeling off, jia zhen and i were to take over the orientation group. So i thought "hey, we've got something to do, we can make the freshies feel more at home! Interaction! Make friends! They don't seem like such a bad lot, eh?"

WRONG. Okay not really, they were a sweet bunch. In fact, i quite enjoyed their company, but then again, both of us kinda "barged into" the group, and we did not have that bond with them from the start, so they didn't really need us to guide them or to glue them together. They could do that on their own, in fact, they were interacting with each other quite well already!

Right so nevermind. There "WAS STILL A LITTLE HOPE" left! There wa the NIGHTWALK! Oooo i just LOVE nightwalks. I love these stuff, these outdoor adventure kinda stuff. I couldn't wait! I thought all of us could try out for it! The reason we even went over to the chalet was because we were told "there were stuff for us to do" and we thought we could help out in the nightwalk. In the end, that little bit of wisful hope, vanished. -.-

It was "MURDER" all over again! The station masters for the nightwalk were chosen, and we didn't even know cause we thought we were already in it. Then alamak, ai ya, confusion and haywireness. Helpers were not briefed and everytime i tired to ask something, i was either ignored or given a ridiculous task. After i was told that our "duty" was to hang around and make sure everything was okay, i nearly lost my mind. I was hungry, tired, lost, and feeling utterly useless. It was beginning to be a waste of time too. And of course, i was feeling EXTRA. So well whatever. It was a bit hard to bring my mood up again. Sometimes, you're just so disappointed, you don't know what to do, and you succumb to your fatigue. Does that make sense? After a while, i guess i was so demoralized and bored that my eyes could hardly open. It wasn't on purpose, i was just feeling so frustrated and tired i guess. It was hard trying to smile and act like nothing was wrong, hard it was.

At the end, we waited for 2 hours plus for the chartered bus to bring us ang mo kio mrt station. That is, steph, jz and me! Wah i was seriously talking... erm, BS on the couch already. Was too tired. Then i fell asleep, and had a dream that eliz was kidnapped. Wah had a fright! Quickly walked down to the first level and realized she wasn't there! ZZZZ she had gone home with the guys -.- Make me panic. Gah. SO well, both freshmen and UB orientation members were all dead tired. haha, i guess tired is good eh? Means that it was a night to remember. We all went through a night of orientation together! Although some parts really got me down...

But hey, it's over! I guess that's what we signed up for right? To be a "HELPER", which is to hang around and be called upon only when they need funny stuff to be done. Ooops, maye this could be one of loisa's bad attitude, but i seriously had no fun at all. I didn't make friends, i didn't feel like i contributed anything, i feel... stupid and useless. Yeah basically.

Do i want to participate in the next orientation? Maybe. Haha, i've always enjoyed these stuff. But maybe i'm not up for it. Maybe... oh i don't know haha. I'm tired. I'm cranky. So is everyone. I do respect the hard work put in by the council and committee members though. It can't be easy trying to put together a whole orientation with a tight budget AND the exams on the way. So, not too bad, could have been better, but it's a great effort!

Had a phone conversation with angel for around 15 minutes and gee, it made me realized how some people want responsibilities and status so much, yet are unwilling to work hard to gain as profit as possible.

There is politics everywhere. Schools, work places, families too. I dislike politics. Everyone should love unconditionally and trust with an open heart. The world would then be so full of love and joy. =) Ahhh

27th April 2007 (Chaotic day)

Oh today was one super chaotic day!!

The night before, i was studying my statistics book for a little bit, then took a break to play solitaire with Eileen and Jielong. As my piano lesson was cancelled, i decided to play a few more short games with them, namely tic tag toe, minesweeper and UNO. After one insane moment, Eileen suggested we play "literati", a word game, on yahoo. Right, so Jielong and i trooped down to the yahoo groups to play! HA HA

Wah we started around 12 midnight plus, and played til erm, 6 plus. There was a tiny drama scene when daddy woke up, mumbled something at me, i mimed "just woke up" mood, and proceeded playing with them. MY GOSH it was 7 plus already! NO SLEEP! -.-"

Goodness knows why, Eileen and i had this sudden hunger pang, and we were desperate for MacDonald's breakfast! HA HA so Eileen, being Eileen, ha ha suggested we go down to KAP for Macs! HA HA i love her! We're always doing things like that!! And me, being sleepy Loisa, was delirious with happiness and hunger, said "YES LET'S GO!" And Jielong, i don't know what happened to him, but he agreed to....

We actually had a lunch meeting at 11.3o at Botak Jones, Eileen had her COM 300 exam from 10am-12pm, selling of second hand books from 12pm-2pm, and Stats class from 2pm-4pm. -.- Full schedule eh?

I guess that's why Jielong didn't mind driving us all around Singapore... but wait... not the full story...

In the first place, I had planned to go for breakfast then go home, then go for lunch, and Jielong planned to go for breakfast, and SKIP stats class, so up til now, i have no idea what possessed him to meet us for breakfast. Anyway, everything went haywire from the start.

Jielong had to fetch his dad to work, resulting in a delay in schedule. He was thus late in picking Eileen up, and now they had to rush to the DRIVE-THRU of MacDonald's to buy food because she was running late for her exam. As for me, after the drive-thru, they would pick me up, and we would do "don't know what" while Eileen went for her exam. This meant i had to bring my school stuff with me! So i ran all the way back home from Dover MRT station where i was waiting for them, and the moment i reached the door, Eileen called to say they're on their way to pick me up AT THE MRT STATION. -faint- So new plan, pick me up straight from my place. After packing everything, before i could go out of my house, Eileen called and said they're downstairs already. SHEESH! So i grabbed as much as i could and flew out of the elevator -.-

So after executing the new plan, Jielong and i were left in the car, with breakfast, and nothing to do buy wait for Eileen to complete our exam. It was hilarious! Ha ha for a moment there, we thought we had gone mad in actually doing this chaotic activity so early in the morning. So... Jielong and i proceeded to eat in the car, with the air con switched on. After a while, i thought it was a waste of petrol and quite cold, so i suggested switching off the air con and opening the doors. Soon, Jielong couldn't take it and had to switch the air con back on. -.- (Jielong is hotblooded-OX, Loisa is coldblooded-SNAKE)

No idea what we both did to pass the time, but then Eileen came out from her exam already! =) So we waited for her to go sell her books, and then off we went to Botak Jones to have lunch. It was a bit scary cause Stephanie, Jia Zhen, Elizabeth and Krystel were already there, and they looked so... scary. Yeah. For a moment there i was afraid they were mad because suddenly so many people turned up, but in the end they were okay i guess =) You guys are the best! Thanks! It truly was one messy tiring day!

Lunch ended and the girls were packed into Pearlene's car, while the guys were in Jielong's car. Note, Krystel looked quite seductively sexy to me today. Hmm weird. Ha ha...

STATS time! ARGHH! Was falling asleep throughout! The lack of sleep caught up with me and i was ready to KAPUT anytime. I was so blur and sleepy, so non-responsive, i hope that i didn't offend anyone. If i did, I'm sorry...

MATH MATH MATH IS....

OVER!!!

*screams and bounces up and down*

Ha ha i don't care what other exams we have, as long as math is over. No wait, hang on, STATISTICS isn't over! Oh bother.

Anyway, it's a load off my mind since math is done with. Whew! I know i can pass math, but i want to SCORE for it. After today, hmmm, I'll have to re-think about that, but hey, I'll leave it all in God's hands. I mugged really hard for it, so I put my grades in His hands.

Well today started off really ridiculously. We had to bring all our textbooks to school to pass them to the student council. We are selling them away to the new batches of students you see, second hand of course. That way, we not only get some of our money back, the freshmen get cheaper books! Win-win situation. =)

So yep, i dragged 5 EXTREMELY heavy and EXTREMELY thick textbooks to school.... WOW WHEE! I started off with a very straight posture, and i ended up in school practically falling on my feet. Had trouble pressing the bell on the bus when it was my turn to alight. Sheesh! Dropped one book, picked it up, dropped another book. Picked that book up, dropped a CD ROM. Picked the CD ROM up, dropped my wallet. SIGH...

At the student lounge, i rushed with a guy (yeah yeah unlady like i know.. -piak piak piak-) for the EMPTY UB room, so we could study in there... And when i said EMPTY, i mean EMPTY - No chairs nor tables inside. Very smart. SO i proceeded to drag ONE chair in. Before i could lug a whole table in too, a security guard came, and i had to explain there were no tables, no chairs, therefore cannot study. He apologetically told me there ISN'T SUPPOSED to be stuff inside, therefore would we mind if we study outside instead? So fine, we studied outside. Next thing we knew, OTHER NON-UB students were dragging couches, chairs, tables and so on INTO THE ROOM. Wahhh pek chek... but i feel for the people who have to re-arrange the student lounge later. They keep putting the furniture neatly for us, and we just move them to our own advantage. BUT HONESTLY, why do students always CHOPP TWO AND MORE tables when their physical bodies are not there?! ULTRA selfish i feel. ZZZ no further comments.

AHA so mummy gave me a ride home after school. Since we were both starving... (to be continued)

Side note: I HAD SUCH A HORRIBLE LUNCH! Ha ha okay I'm fussy, but it was totally unhappy food. It was as good as a salad with prawns and pork, because there was NO bee hoon at all! Daddy ate all the bee hoon, leaving the "liao" -.- Right, so not a good lunch.

Continuation:
We decided to swing by the drive through of King Albert Park's MacDonald's. It was super hilarious! Mum and i shared a chicken nuggets student upsize-d meal, so when we both turned our heads away from the menu, intending to tell the girl at the small box counter thing at the side, ZZZ -.- We faced a huge hamburger. There was no counter girl to take out orders, it was a voice automated machine, with a picture of a giant hamburger pasted on it -.-

My mum was so shocked, she went "HAH? Why am i facing a hamburger?! I'm facing a hamburger right?! Why is a hamburger staring at me?!" HAHAHAHA

I was laughing so hard! The voice automated machine also got blurred by my mum, so it was "Confirmation. One hamburger. That would be $1.20 please."

Wah my mum panicked!! Ha ha she went something like "EH NOT i want ____, not hamburger. But why are you a hamburger?! Where's the girl?!"

Sigh.. total confusion at the box counter... Ha ha caused a small jam too! HAHAHA

GB Enrolment Service

EEK! I forgot all about blogging about the GB's enrolment service on Sunday! Erm like last last last..... Sunday... Easter Sunday that is. Ha ha see? I've just been so busy.

Anyway, Samantha, Cherie and I went back for the combined GB/BB enrolment service. Don't ask me why they combined it after all these years. Well what can i say, ha ha LUCKY they come together only every 5 years. HEADACHE!! Even as a spectator, i feel for the boys and girls. Well, mainly the girls. Ha ha the boys.... ehhhhh *who cares* ha ha OOPS. ha ha... Can you imagine how messy it must have been? All the rehearsals.. both sides having to accommodate each other's traditional different practices of having enrolment? Not to mention that the invitations were sent out so last minute? Samantha and i received the invitations on 4th April, and the dateline to submit our names were... 4th April. -.- Zzz

This year, i have to admit, the food was GOOD though! Ha ha that's the plus point. EXTREMELY plus point! Ha ha all of us LOVED the shepherd's pie. Mama MIA!! =)

I had an assignment too! It was to video tape the entire enrolment service. Wah stress level go up. I thought i was back to visit the girls and to have fun, catching up with everyone and alamak, ha ha kena video tape the event. It was an experience though, so it wasn't too bad. Samantha helped me too! Only problem was,

1) I didn't quite know what and how to videotape the stuff. Not much creativity so i couldn't play around with the angles and stuff.
2) People are quite selfish and kia su! Excited parents just keep popping up in front of you, not caring whether you are holding a video recorder or not!! SIANNN.... so i kept stopping starting stopping starting the video... so as not to take videos of parents' BACKS... in the end, i think the video turned out quite jumpy and not so smooth =( Sorry Miss Gan...

BUT EH HEH HEH! There's a special clip at the end of the video specially for Esther-ians!! WAHAHAHAHAHA I was video tapping the Esther squad receiving the award on stage, and i also zoomed in on the prizes plus the plaque (is that what it's called? the gold trophy thing?) heh heh

ESTHER SQUAD EMERGED AS THE D.I.R.T TEAM!!! WOOOOHOOOOOOOOO

Like WOW, finally my dream has been achieved. Who's the squad leaders? Jolene? Who else? Whoever they are, thanks to all Esther girls! You're my loves! Hahaha... Audrey! You did good! ha ha but BAH, they got the award when I'm no longer an Esther-ian -.- Then again, who cares? Once an Esther-ian, Always an Esther-ian!! =)

Well...

I just realized that as assignments go by, you sort of get better at lying.. or rather, to make it sound nicer, "story-telling". I've been bluffing my way through, crapping up all kinds of stories, and lying through my teeth, just to get my assignment done. And guess what? I'm actually enjoying it!! Ha ha, not the assignment part of course, but the "call bluff" part. I could get used to it. Hahaha

Okay i shall not scare you anymore. I just meant that it's sometimes funny as you re-read what you've typed out for your assignment. My current one is a report on how a particular organization is run. I'm supposed to interview a top-level manager and report on how major, minor decisions are made, the conflicts and the resolutions, etc.

And it's FUNNY!! Ha ha, I'm like coming up with all sorts of coincidences, such as a supposed electrician coming to fix the lights, and suggesting the manager uses cheaper lights. Then into the scene comes an employee, who is supposedly carrying a cake for the manager's anniversary, who then suggests to the manager not to change the lights, to instead keep the current ones, which by the way, is more expensive to maintain. Reason being is the current lights are brighter, therefore better for the workers... etc.

It's funny la! I'm just having fun thinking up of stories, and gushing, yes GUSHING about the manager's compassion for his employees, which results in the staff being grateful and loving him back. All in all, the organization just sounds like a perfect organization, with managers who rule with a compassionate heart, and with employees who are like one's second family.

The best part? I changed Jielong's name (I interviewed his dad lar) to Lee Lie Jong, to keep him anonymous in my report. I supposedly interviewed the son too. Oh well

Quite fun.. to a certain extent. because NOW, our lovely lecturer, who rules with a demonic heart, has asked us to write an executive summary. And i don't even know what it is. Had to google it up. -.-

It's nowhere completion cause I'm supposedly done with it already! I write a SUMMARY OF THE EXECUTIVE SUMMARY!!! Zzz sigh...

Cell group

Sigh, i just realized the issue i fight over with my mum the most, is the way i look, or the way i dress, or the way i present myself to others. In public.

We just received the photos from our old cell group's gathering, and my mum saw the photo of all the children. She pointed to each kid, and said "oh so sweet, oh so pretty, oh so matured, oh so handsome..." Then then when she came to me, "ah you".

I was like WHAT? That's IT?! And she went, "i'm not going to say anything. you always look like that. i don't want to nag anymore". zzzz thanks arh mummy...

All the girls are in pretty dresses or skirts, and i'm the one in jeans and a funeral color top. -.- oh well that's loisa for you...

my 300th post!! haha hmm how long has it been since i've started this blog? I remember my first few posts were crazy. There were so many things going on.. camps, games day, dances... hmm probably in 2004 haha it's been 3 years! Wait is it 2007? yeah right, 2007.. okay three years then

ANYWAY, i had a day otu with angel on friday! Good friday... zzz we were SUPPOSED to do work but in the end, we talked so much, i read 3 pages of my coms textbook. -.- haha But it was nice talking to her again. *shivers* she told me all about her blood donation in school... *shviers

I AM AFRAID OF NEEDLES!! If someone ever uses needle warfare to kill all of us in singapore, i'll be the first to cry and commit suicide. -.-

Just a note to all of you out there. If there's an emergency and you badly need bloog, life and death situation only arh, and IF my blood type matches yours, please request for me to be put under GA before you take my blood as a donation okay? I cannot bear to see and feel the needle go in. That's my weakness, that's my phobia. Why am i telling you this? You'll then have an edge over me.

FORGET WHAT I SAID PEOPLE! There's no such thing as a needle warfare. Loisa is unafraid of needles. In fact, she loves them! Poke her anytime!!

The first week of April, and school is getting worse. Three tests, which i studied hard for, mind you ACTUALLY completed studying the entire chapter, together with revision notes, tags, and what nots...

Guess what? I failed. WOW! 4 points. I just realized that i can forfeit two quizzes from BOTH mid terms PLUS end terms. Whoooppee? NO because originally i already knew that. The only difference was that i thought you could minus FOUR in total - 2 from the mid terms, 2 from the end terms. So wow! I've maxed the number of quizzes i can forfeit. I do any worse than i am doing now (wait i can't do worse), i can say bye bye to my 3.4 target GPA. zzzzz

So many assignments to do, so many readings to read... Even the assignments are ridiculous. One is to interview an organization, which in the first place, it's HARD to find an organization which would actually listen to you. Earlier in the semester, we ALREADY had to interview an organization, NOW AGAIN, we have to interview another one. NO ONE can interview the same company, although there are various departments in one company. If we have similar companies, we get a zero. -.- How many big name companies are out there, who would pay attention to small people undergoing a communications degree? No one would care. I think.

Now for the second assignment. My wonderful chapter is one that he has not even gone through. As if we're not already drowning in readings, i have to read an EXTRA chapter just to complete ONE POINT of the assignment. -.- And what is the play that we have to read up on about?

An Indian girl whose skirt is "a little too short, a little too tight" who got raped by an white boy. A girl who changes into a black low cut as good as transparent negligee to signal to the boys (yes PLURAL. boyS) that it is time to go, the girl who doesn't mind when the boys put her hands to his genitals, a girl who doesn't mind being fondled, a girl who says "no" to the boy, but continues to hold his hand and kiss him and walk backwards into the bed room while moaning... Then she cries when the boy has sex with her..

I give up. Does she, or does she not deserve it? Okay I'm mean. But any common sense person can see that her communication and non-verbal cues are the opposite of her "no". ZZZ and mind you, she's been on ONLY four dates with the boy, and they're kissing, touching, fondling, moaning and whatever other words are in the play...

Okay, so i can go admit myself in a nunnery. But i refused to be, or to touch, fondle, stroke, moan etc til I'm married.

zzzz why am i even typing this? Back to writing an essay on the Holocaust. Genocide.

Hee hee ha ha HA HA HA! This is too funny! The first time i saw it was from Cherie, and today i just saw it again on the net! It's too funny already, albeit the "fuck" word. BUT it IS funny. Ha ha had a good time laughing over it. It made me day. Right sigh...

The last few days were... disgustingly disgusting. Was so miserable and stressed up inside. -.- I don't think I'll elaborate anymore. It's over and i don't want to drag it up again.

Anyway, I'm happy now =) I have wonderful friends everywhere; thus, the "lovely people" =)

PS: Dell has a ridiculously way of running their "technical support and maintenance" department. They don't even have a dell store anyway selling adapters. stupid. really stupid. PAH

CHERIE!! i still can't get into your blog... =( my computer is really against me...

Anyway, today is a horrible day lar. No sleep, no focus, no happiness... Too many tests, too many readings, too many.... messy hair-raising events. THANKS TO MY DOG, whom i still so stupidly love...

BUt as i was whining and crying away to myself, i just realized, i'm blessed to have wonderful sweet people around me. I was panicking away in school today, but started panicking more at home! Friends even came around to help! and to make me laugh... =) Isn't it wonderful to have friends who would drop all things to help you out when you're fussing and can't think straight?

I'm beginning to have this profound respect for wikipedia, and for history too. Or maybe I'm just morbid. I'm currently studying World War 1, and I'm curious about it. I want to know more, and I've just realized that the textbook isn't enough; thus, wikipedia.

Initially, i thought of blogging as i wanted to post a question. Who on earth is Kaiser Wilhelm?

Right, now for my update on the ahem, M18 movie, 300. Ha ha so proud of the fact it's M18. My first M18 movie! Don't ask what we did to get in. Whatever it is, we were whooping for joy in the elevator.

Side tracking a little, doesn't 18 years old sound old? The first phase was when we all reached 16, and everyone was going "ooo sweet 16 sweet 16!" 18 seems to be the second phase, the phase which is scarily older. The phase when you assume all responsibilities.

18... The age when you can start driving, start drinking, start going to clubs... but i would rather not try the last two. As for driving... HA HA BRING IT ON! =)

Ah yes, back to the movie.

The reason we watched it was the historical value. We learnt about the Spartans in UGC 111, our first course of history. Now, into our second module of history, we're learning about World War 1 and 2. Makes me wonder why i didn't take history in secondary school, otherwise i would have a little bit of knowledge about ti already. But hey, no regrets about LIT! =) I just wish they have a lit course in my school.

ANYWAY, the plot of 300 goes like this. (there isn't much plot really) It was basically how the Spartans fought against the Persians, numerous battles by the way, for honour, and glory, and against slavery of the Spartans. It was GOOD.

According to jielong, and jaden too, the highlight was

"300 hot, sweaty, half-naked men engaging in physical activities"

But to me, it's why, and how the Spartans fought. According to my history textbook, which doesn't explain a lot about them (we were learning about Greece, that's how the Spartans came about), the Spartans were fearless fighters. They were one of the rare groups of Greece in those days, whose women had quite a bit of rights.

Hmm today was one day i have to mark in my calendar... the first M18 movie i've watched, but i don't think i'll be watching anymore for a little while. I'll be good and wait til August, unless the movie's REALLY good. Hahahahaha

Anyway, side note to *pinkie* before i blog about today...

"MY GOODNESS! *pinkie*, i seriously strongly advise you not to go out with whatshisname anymore! Like seriously... like zzzzzzz. Not worth it. You can study at home. Save on transportation fees too. Why torture yourself to hear about heartbreaking stories about an exgirlfriend when he's obviously... ZZZZZ. I don't know, i'm just speechless. I could be biased, or cold hearted, but gah, i would just feel more comfortable if you well, not see him for a little while. I'll never understand him. Maybe you do, but argh, let me organise my thoughts.

He's just annoying!! He plays with your feelings, breaks your heart, after how many months come into your life once again, and then started tlaking about HOW NICE HE IS? BAH, sorry i'm not so forgiving. Can you please refrain from seeing him too much, please? For me? Cause you do get a little bit nua nua, although he seems to be creating his own death bed everytime he opens his mouth, but STILL...

Ai yar *pinkie*, it's too complicating. We've not even completed our education, not working, and these people are occupying our minds... am i making sense? Let's just all be friends, and if that's hard, then erm well, i would personally prefer to cut the strings. Or maybe i'm different from you. I advoid, i get scared, and i just.. disappear. I can't handle it, that's why. It took me so long to even answer an sms from ahh well... you get it yeah? Enough said.

Ai-yoohhh, say "talk talk talk talk talk" really REALLY fast. Sigh, that's exactly what our communications teacher does! Ha ha he's a fatherly fella lar, and i know i can go to him anytime; whenever i have questions he will no doubt answer them, though I'm not sure about the "to the best of his ability" part, cause sometimes i STILL don't get him after 20 minutes of explanation. -.-

BUT, there's a big but there - and communications students, bear in mind that the "but" does not precede the thought before it... Well BUT, the lecturer is too boring already!! He's reading off the textbook! With the same examples, same sentence construction and everything else!

HE CAUGHT ME SLEEPING IN CLASS! Ha ha actually i wasn't ENTIRELY sleeping. Today is a bad day, a really bad day. I stayed up so late last night, slept around 4am to study for our SUPPOSED (yes, SUPPOSED) communications test today. As quoted from my ramblings and scribblings in my communications textbook, "i opened my eyes humongous-ly, looking like the female reincarnation of Mr. bean." I was absolutely burnt out. My head was swivelling from side to side; my legs were hanging like dead logs from my body; my eyelids were determined to close themselves." I even had this funny weird dream. Akira and Jane were fighting each other on goats, which were headbutting each other. Hmmm... I wonder what brought that on...

Anyway, and then, and THEN, AND THEN...!!!!! Guess what happened? The test was cancelled, AGAIN. TWICE already! Monday cancelled, today cancelled, looks like tomorrow's other communications module test is going to be cancelled as well. AH well. Shall not waste my brain cells studying my hair off for those. Instead, I'll be good and catch up on my history reading, which oh so bores me to tears. Ha ha if you ever suffer from insomnia, you know what to do. Just read our UGC textbook. The photocopied version that is.

All black, white, grey, and with thousands and thousands of words. paragraphs. compositions. essays. novels. thesis. Zzz -.- Sigh... the life of a student. How i wish i was a baby again. I can eat, sleep, play without worrying about getting fat, suffering from hair loss, or.... burning all my brains out.

Ha ha do i sound depressed? NO WAY! I'm still loving my life. I'm still loving my friends. I'm still loving my family. I'm still loving pebbles. I'm still loving the LORD =)

Guess what JZ is doing now? BTW, she's sitting beside in the computer lab. We're again, that word, SUPPOSED to be doing our excel assignment and reading our history textbook (but we might just fall asleep if we do that), but noooooooo. I'm sitting cross legged on the chair, happily typing away, while Jia Zhen is fantasizing about "pop goes my heart". The music video from the movie "music and lyrics"... Ha ha it IS hilarious. She just highlighted to me a particular scene where Hugh grant and his partner in crime shake their booties like... A LOT. -.- Sexy... ha ha I'm going to roar with laughter soon... Well well well, FINALLY mr. allen lok has acknowledged my emails... haha...

It seems that the first MGQ (stats) assignment we did was not received by allen lok. Goodness he then told me my entire group had a ZERO. It's not good for my blood pressure. I as good as got a blood clot in my heart when he told me that. The moment i arrived home, i spammed BOTH his email accounts with emails and attachments. Haha of course it didn't help the first two emails i sent, i forgot to attach the file. zzzz

Okay so girls, no problem! He's FINALLY received it. Like whew. I was screeching away to my mum, wondering when he was going to acknowledge my email. NO way was my group going to settle for a zero for an assignment we completed within the due date okay.

AND.... THANK YOU CHERIE! Don't know why i was so blur today. I left my pencil box in the LT. Realized it only on the bus when i wanted to write down my dog's appointment. Wah panic attack, called cherie, my darling life saver. She ran back to help me retrieve my poor lonely pencil case!!! Thanks! You're a dear!

Sigh class has just been cancelled. We only knew about it when we were like, on our way to school already? zzzz and we studied so hard for that test too!! -.-

This break is ridiculous. Oh well.

EGAD! End of exams!! wahahahahahaha

well guess what? the system is too kind to us students. We have a math test tomorrow! haha as if we're not burned out enough. I arrived home, and i fell asleep in my dinner. Had this annoying splitting headache that was making me spin adn swirl -.- I just woke up! haha OOPS so well, self declared holiday. I'm starting on math only tomorrow. Tomorrow, on march 15 2007, loisa will officially panic like nobody's business. Haha but i do need a break. Not only sleep, but a BREAK. It's been a crazy week. No make, that, a few crazy weeks.

Anyway, today was our last examination. The communication module. Haha somehow exams in UB... somethign will always happen lar. Hahahaha this time, (first time was MGQ) there were not enough exam papers. So they had to collect the few they had given out, then wait wait wait, "take a nap" our lecturer said... TAKE A NAP! Then more papers came up, and we started later than intended. And the time ate into our math lecture...

Right i'm off! Gonna eat some kiwi.. good for health =)

Hmm I'm currently in the computer lab with Jia Zhen, waiting for Shawn (he might decide to school in my university!!) to come and to see Professor Rehman for our test papers back. Sigh... BORED. Scary exams are over, but the examinations for our communication modules are not over yet. They're next week, but ah well, after mugging like mad for history and math and statistic, i think we all deserve a little break yeah? THUS, exercise tomorrow. Since class is cancelled on friday (our teacher is going for reservice), we're gonna play badminton!

EXAMS. STUDY. LACK OF SLEEP. EXHAUSTION.

Yet God has been good. He's blessed me with pretty okay results for the midterms. We'll see about the finals though. I have to do well for those too.

I have an aim, so Lord please help me achieve my dream, if it's in Your will.

I wanna have a GPA of well, over 3.3! I want a 3.6! But that may be overachieving yeah? Solet's stick to 3.3 first. =) This couse is a big money course. I want to do well for something, i want to have a passion for something, and i've found it. I want to excel. Sometimes, i get

"zzzzz SIAN. Teachers so bias. Cannot make it. Don't feel like listening to the teacher. Go home can study (of course i get distrcted at home)." The worst thing is waking up early in the morning, friday for piano, saturday for cell group, sunday for church. Often, i think, "Aiyooo don't feel like going. I've been studying so hard, let me rest at home, please."

But hey, studying is a gift God gave to me. Should i not put Him first in everything, give Him rule over my whole life? Is my family not important too? Shouldn't i study well in school, then i don't have to panic at home, i can have fun with my family? I have a dog, i took responsibility for her, should i not take time to play wiht her, teach her, love her?

This psot is getting... heavy. Sounds like COM 225 eh? We just need a half hour to talk to ourselves, let our thoughts flow, just to have that feeling that someone is listening attentively and fully to us. Obviously no on's listening to me right now, but the internet is. =) Good enough for me

So end of thoughts.

I think i shall do something else, like study for my upcoming communications examinations. Or maybe surf the net. Haha okay lar STUDY

Hey all!! MGQ 201 exam is finally over! That would be the stats exam.. haha and obviously, so is the MATH exam!

MGQ wasn't so bad... I was nervous, but in the end, i had 14/15, so well... nevermind. This is better anyway, cuase it shows there's room for improvement. How much cna you improve upon if you get 15, right? haha

Anyway, MGQ 201 is an online course, an E Learning course, so the exam was done in a computer lab. It was crazy, and all of us were diaoing the course in general. OUr lecturer himself was late, so instead of starting at 3.30pm, we started at almost 4 o clock. Well after our lectuere, or rather helper came in (our REAL lecturer is stationed in New York you see), we had problems getting into the school's website and then clicking on our test, because...

the test wasn't there. -.-

And after solving that problem, (the date for the test to be available on the website was wrong you see), we had to get the password to log into the test so it will be SHOWN.

Aiyoooo... and you know what? We were asked if we wanted to postpone the test on FRIDAY! After studying so hard for it, NO WAY were we going to change anything! So, FINALLY we could do the test. MY GOODNESS....

Ah yes, for the MATH exam. faint faint flip flip *SCREAMS* There were TWO word problems. Loisa is dead-ed. It's around 30 marks gone. So i can get 70/100 and below. Scary eh? All the differntiation, implicit differentiation, marginal analysis, approximation...

Great I'm blogging backwards. Just goes to show how backward i am... Sigh...

Anyway, today in school was another rubbish day. THE MATH EXAM. I was panicking, i don't know why, but it seems i had good reason to panic. I lost around what, 30 marks? WORD PROBLEMS... I was never good at word problems... Sigh...

Anyway, the night before, i actually left math alone adn studied like mad for our COM 217 test. And guess what?! The teacher postponed the rest!!! I WASTED ALL MY TIME STUDYING THAT WHEN I COULD HAVE STUDIED MATH! grrrrr oh well. Sigh...

And to prove how bad our state of minds were....

Wednesday nights and thursday mornings are always a horror, as quoted from eileen. Thursdays are the days when we have a COM 225 Test, and a history paper to hand in. So.. guess what we're doing every wednesday 10pm - thursday 4/5am? Yep, slaving away... Half dead... Yeah so well

Thanks to Kai and Kenneth for helping us out with UGC! I think, no i KNOW i must have been quite grumpy and a little rude, so i'm sorry. I truly am, and i'm also grateful for your help, from the bottom of my heart, so don't ever think i don't appreciate your help okay?

Hmmm i must have caught the grouchy bug... Sigh, now i know what jia zhen was feeling. Oh well, now that the bug has left me, let's hope no one ever catches it again. It's one NASTY bug.

Anyway yeah, i still can't sleep, cause i have to study for my communications test plus my statistics EXAM. None of which i've started on yet so hallejuah. Taking a break now...

This was one interesting day. Funny how i always dread visitations but i end up enjoying myself quite a bit! Well today it was the meeting of the cousins. Not mine, but my mum's! Her cousins decided to meet up together and well, catch up! So i went along... haha OOPS i admit, half of the ang paos and also to see how my second cousins look like! The children of my mum's cousins that is... And... mmm interesting. VERY interesting. I WAS THE OLDEST KID THERE! -faint- For how many thousand of years i was the baby of the family (my mum's sisters: my direct cousins) and now...??? I'm the OLDEST?! Shucks... I'm OLD OLD OLD! So well anyway, all the family history came out during this tea reunion thing. GUESS WHAT? I might as well not learn chinese already. I can just give up my chinese heritage and take on the indonesian heritage. It's not even malay, it's INDONESIAN, like TRADITIONAL INDONESIAN! My loisa cna turn into a...a... what's an indonesian name for loisa? Anyway, my relatives came from Madan and some funny village. arrange marriages between the Indonesians and Chinese and... whatever else. Ask me for the long version of teh story. Right now i'm too scatter-brained to talk properly.

ps: My china relatives, as in the tiny bit that came form china (thank goodness i'm not prue indonesian or my head will swirl; i'm not syaing it's a bad thign though), they speak DIALECTS. NOT CHINESE, so people, now you understand why my chinese is........................................zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Whew TODAY... my apprehension was even stronger then yesterday's. I guess cause my family is the only one with ONE KID (poor me) and all the other families have two three FOUR children! *screams* Okay today was the church reunion, my old old like REALLY old church. Jonathan's church too! But ah well, he wasn't there cause he's WAY too old haha. His generation different from my generation, and different cell group last time too, SO i went there... ALONE. The moment i stepped into the host's house, i went like

"SHOOT! God help me, i'm scared. Who the heck are these people?" Okay, a bit of boasting here... hahaha, i'm usually the one who knows everyone -.- Probably because i was one sociable kid when i was young (Hey i used to kiss everyone in sight, boy girl, young, old, as long as they were human... *kiss*) And then all of a sudden, i just did not recognise everyone!! WHY?!?!?!

So i resorted to self misery. -.- Greeted everyone in sight "Happy New Year" and then went off to get food, proceeding to sit at the table and mutter to myself how single kids shouldn't go to parties... and then.....

My knight in shining armour came. -.- Haha nah... They're the erm.. something family. Can't remember surname. Whatever it is, Esmond and the little one, Priscilla (whom i absolutely adore) came! Ahhh! Thank goodness they came. Then again, Esmond told me "Everyone looks foreign here" haha so... i'm not the only lost soul.

Two princesses came, Stephanie and Jessica! I waved to them as if there was suddenly a spring in my arm and, and asked them to join me. HALLEJUAH! FRIENDS! So we all settled down to talk. Michelle and lynette chatted with us a little... yep... COOL! =)

Managed to catch up with some real old childhood friends... Haha exhcanged some horror stories of school life and childhood memories... Ahhh bliss. I love them! Had a great timr in a way actually haha. We even watched spongebob squarepants movie (don't ask why) and SANG to the theme song. -.-

When we all parted, it just made me realise how lonely it is something without a peer to talk to, or a younger/older sibling to repond back to you in ENGLISH instead of barking...

Yeah, so was quite lonely all the way back home, and now relating the day's events... and playing with my dog again... hmm NOT SO LONELY ANYMORE! Haha

WE WENT FOR A SPIN IN JANE'S CAR! She DROVE. Like SROVE THE CAR! Okay i'm always very fascinated when people i know drive... and i SIT WHILE THEY DRIVE. It's so cool! hahaha She gave jia zhen and me a ride home! Thank you soooo much! It was raining too, so we were even more largi grateful. My eyes were so big when i got in. Haha jia zhen felt the same! The minute i stepped in, i was fumbling around on the seat, trying to take in everything...

First, the floor, ahh, looked so nice... then the seat... felt so nice... then the window (i plastered my face onto it), smelled so nice, and on to the front of the car -- i sat at the back you see.

WOW the gears... it was half auto, half manual. Then jane's hands on the sterring wheel, okay i'm not focussing on her hands, mroe like... AI YAR she's driving lar, that's the whole point. It was just TOO COOL ALREADY!

But well okay Khairul Amri's stunning goal 9 minutes from the game DID help Singapore to a 1-1 draw with Thailand, so... alright, i'll give the guy some credit.

you know, it reminds me of the time we GB girls (teenagers) played football against the thais, at an orphanage there. The children were aged erm 4 or 5 onwards, with the oldest at 16. For the Singapore team, the oldest was our officer, definitely above 25, so... guess who won the friendly match? Shoots it's past 3am on a thursday MORNING and i'm still awake, doing what? Fussing over UGC... and argh! Do NOT even get me started on our history teacher... oooooooooooooooo that disgusting uncaring theory X lecturer! She need to learns from William OUCHI's theory Z. She needs to transform into, or rather ADOPT, the japanese management, and not her own individualistic biased organization. She needs scanlan managment, or maybe just-in-time management, or time quiality management. NO better yet, change herself into a theory Y manager!!!!!

Gah....

She has totally no interpersonal communication skills. Her dyadic conversations are going to fail. She's obviously in a co-culture of her own, and probably her own out-group too.

SEE?! this is what happens when an angry loisa starts ranting in the wee hours of the morning. She starts communicating to herself. She starts sprouting out stuff about organizational communications and interpersonal communications as if they are bean sprouts. Cabbage. Samuel's wig. Hair. Flicking everywhere. Herbal essence.

I'M GETTING BAPTISED TOMORROW! =)

This would be like the biggest day of my life! It means i'm publicly declaring He's my Lord and Saviour! Cool eh? I'm soooo in love.... ahhhh

Anyway, my dog is honestly to goodness driving me nuts! She's so naughty, and i don't know what happened. It's been an overnight change or something. One day she's okay, the next she's a... maniac! She barks at precisely 7am EVERY morning, causing the whole of Buona Vista area to wake up, and so i'll have to drag myself off the bed, or roll off, to feed her. Right nevermind, i cna always go back to sleep yeah? NO! She has to pee and poo. Fine. So i bring her down. AND THEN WHAT?! She continues screaming. Screaming mind you, now even a soft whine. Why? She wants company. Therefore, i have to sleep ON THE FLOOR for the rest of the morning til i wake up for school. I cna't use the couch cause that's PEBBLE'S SEAT! a THREE SEATER couch, all for a dog. This is utter nonsense. A dog is supposed to sleep in her cage or doggie basket, but my spoilt brat has a WHOLE COUCH to herself, while the owner sleeps pathetically on the floor. Okay whatever. The sacrifices i make. Sigh...

Lately, i can't even use the computer in peace, because that annoying fool of a dog, wouldn't allow me to clsoe the door and leave her alone outside. But i have to do that, cuase if the door is open, she'll come in and bite everythig in sigh, including the comptuer wires, which would be a horrific disaster that i don't even want to imagine it. Ghastly dog.

and THAT is why i love her. Call me a lunatic, or psychological insane, but i do love that dog. Ask me why, and i'll tell you simply... "She's MY dog." Yep, i'm such an idiot.

A day when most of us are free....

Well i had piano lesson in the morning as usual... it was usual... usally boring... but it was alright. Why? Cause it's the school holidays and i managed to practice more than i usually do! =) Hooray for me! -.- haha

In the afternoon, jiazhen, eileen, jocelyn, stephanie and i met up for badminton, in yio chu kang. Don't ask. Okay, now i am CONVINCED that i am truly out of shape. Like abosultely, totally, disgustingly, grossly out of shape. In the sense that, by serving twice and hitting back less than 10 times, my legs were wobbling, i had a stitch, and i was practically gasping for air, to the extent that if i jumped one more time, i would probably have a heart attack right there in the court. So i'm exaggerating, but really, it was TIRING. The consequences of not having PE in school, and the luxury of taking lifts all the time and not bothering about the stairs even though it's a one level difference (SIM). Sigh... alright alright! I'm going swimming and walking! (This i did today, 7th january, but that will be another post, or maybe i just won't embarrass myself further). Jia zhen was super cool though, she was THE ROCK. Haha nah, as in she was the most energetic one amongst all of us. Right, enough about emphasising how weight-ful i am.

On to the highlight of today. The dinner plus movie with THE COUSINS.

Three of my cousins came back from Australia! So the six of us girls decided to go out for dinner together. Actually, the five of them decided, but nicky invited me, which felt kinda funny, but nice. Haha. the 5 of them are usually the closest you see, i'm the baby of the cousins, and i guss in their eyes, i'll always be that. The baby, literally. I was debating whether to go or not, cause i would no doubt feel awkward, cause they're so much older and i wouldn't know what to say to them. But i wanted to too, cause hey, they invited me, if i turn them down, isn't that kinda unfriendly, and it's just encouraging all of us to distance ourselves a bit? And we ARE cousins after all, yeah? So... i went. And i have absolutely no regrets.

Everyone were great! Ning's boyfriend came along too! We were supposed to have dinner at Crystal Jades, but we ended up eating at some Japanese restaurant, beside the Crystal Jades at Shaw, Lido, in Orchard. It was good, but we ate til we were stuffed! I had trouble breathing. I always seem to have trouble breating these days, as long as i'm wearing pants. Okay, point taken. I gotta lose something, and soon. -.- Anyway, we took a few pictures and headed off to cineleisure to watch... Night At The Museum, as Lido was not showing that show.

AHHH the next show would be at 11.45PM and anyway, only Geogette and i wanted to catch that, so the rest went home. Oh wait, i forgot about the arcade part. It was cool! =) We played this zombie game whereby we were supposed to shoot at duh, all zombies except civilians. Haha there were lots of commentries, screaming, and bad shot all around. Right, bad shots came from me. I couldn't even reload. Fine. No matter.

So, geogie and i watched that show, and hahahahaha it was hilarious! Shall not eleborate. You go watch it yourself. You'll love it, i promise. =) By the time the show ended, it was 1.45am? I was so dozing off on my feet. Mum had to pick me up of course, since there is not public transport at that obscene time, and geogie took a cab home.

Well that's about it, i have to restart the computer in order for the Antivirus thing to work, so.. i'll post the two pictures of us cousins at a later date yeah? =) Good night people!!

oh goodness Goodness GOdness GOODness GOODNESS! It's the new year already, and i'm... raving mad!! like... NUTTY MAD!!

I'm either going to cry a tsunami, or explode into a hundred thousand pieces of red hot chilli padi anger or whatever. My thoughts are very incoherent now. I'm just fed up, fed up with my dad, although i know i'm supposed to be forgiving and calm and blah blah blah...

My computer has been giving me like loads of problems so daddy has been reformatting then again, and again, AND AGAIN. When he reformatted it two days ago, he saved all our old files somewhere so they will not be lost. But during the two days, from the last reformatting and today, i uploaded more pictures of pebbles, my cousins, the family... into the computer. PLUS, i redid my VERY nice timetable into an easier version to read and uderstand. VERY NICE one, with colours, and whatnots. And what did my nice daddy do? He was lazy to resave the files again, so he just reformatted the computer AGAIN this morning, believing that he would put in all our OLD documents back into the computer ANOTHER DAY.

To sum up, the OLD documents are NOT in the computer yet, and all my pictures plus the nice timetable done by yours truly (which took VERY long mind you), are GONE. LOST. DECEASED. NEVER TO BE FOUND, or RETURNED. EVER AGAIN.

okay okay breathe..... NVM. As all these precious things have been lost, AT LEAST allow me to whine A LITTLE to my mum right? I mean, my mum and dad are all i've got. Who else can i expect to get a little sympathy from? The PLANTS?! my dog is sleeping by the way... So my mum, being the protective her, had to help me a little, and of course, rub it in, into my dad. Meaning, wake him up from his slumber, and reprimand him, A LITTLE, about not saving up my stuff.

THEN

Dad gets all grouchy and unreasonable and stomps into the computer room, where i'm sulking on my own and meditating. ON MY OWN, i repeat. Not bothering everyone else. You know me, i'll get over it sooner or later, but just let me mumble to MYSELF for 10 minutes!!! So anyway, i'm downloading stuff for the family. FOR THE FAMILY. Neccessary stuff, such as the Norton antivirus, firewall, MSN for my mum, MP3 stuff for my dad... Do you see me downloading any of MY stuff? Stuff that are meaningless to my loving family such as itunes and whatever else? i Can't think of any now, but come on, you think i'm not sleepy arh. AND i'm hungry too. My dad stomps in, and starts giving attitude. -.- Like yelling, and scolding me and telling me to get out of the seat since he's going to transfer all the folders into the computer and yada yada...

I'm so mad, and he starts giving all this nonsense. you know what? He has never said sorry in his entire life. He's never sorry. If he is, he never SAYS it. Instead, he'll try to make it up by doing things, which are REALLY not appreciated, which in fact, makes life more difficult for everyone else. Of course, he'lll actually know that if he knows us. Okay, end of blog.

This post sounds very... not nice, yeah?

Since i'm done ranting, i guess i'll be... normal again.

Will type something nice in the next post, since i can't do anything (no files in the computer) and i have to wait for the nortan antivirus to complete it's downloading.

Yay, my cousin sent me a few pictures of us! Buty she doesn't have all, so some are still lost. Well, positive thinking is that not ALL are lost yeah? =) Sigh...

oookay it's cold today. Like really REALLY cold, like feezing your butt off kind of cold. Even the toilet's seat cold... BRRRRR and don't ask why i'm awake at 8.45 am. Sigh...
